I debated posting for a long time because I am friends with the person that did my hair… this was the most traumatic experience. I came for a balayage, cut, and style. Instead of using a root melt, my hair was back combed, which is damaging to any hair, let alone curly hair. After washing, there was an attempt to brush… I realized it was taking a long time and asked to check. My entire head was a massive knot. I (not the stylist) had to go to the shampoo bowl and continuously pump conditioner to work through the knots myself… the stylist kept commenting on how terrible the “ripping sound” was (from the mess she created). I color my hair maybe once a year and never put heat on it so preexisting damage is not an issue. After at least 20 minutes, I was able to finally brush my hair, let the cut happen, and couldn’t stay to risk the “styling”. I wanted to cry. I did not ask or argue for a discount but I cannot believe I was charged the full $190 for that experience especially considering I did half the tragic work. From the social media posts, it seems she does fine on average straight hair but she is NOT a curly stylist despite multiple conversations assuring me she was. The color I received was very far off from the inspo photos (barely a change to my natural color) so def not worth the trauma. I just don’t want any one to go...

I decided to give this place a try as its close to my house and had good reviews. My experience was beyond ALL my previous experiences with other salons. I went in not knowing anything about the prices and I didnt ask. Walking in, the salon is clean, stylish and sleek looking. Staff are helpful, sincere and on top of things. Laura listened to what I was looking for and gave me an awesome hair cut! She took the time to explain the different hair treatments and the how each affects the hair. At the end while looking beautiful with my new hair cut, being handed the bill, my jaw dropped and I literally said "Is that it?" I fully expected to pay at least $60 more...

I had the unfortunate experience of having my hair done by Stephanie at Kimberly's Beach House. First of all, she was running late and I had to wait almost an hour for her to show up. When she finally arrived, she was rushed and didn't take the time to listen to what I wanted. She just started cutting away and when she was done, my hair was a complete disaster. It was way too short, uneven, and my bangs were completely ruined. I was so upset that I had to go home and fix it myself. I would not recommend Stephanie...
