Have a played here before in past years when vacationing. Now that my children are getting older and interested in golf, I thought this would be a great place to teach them the game. I was hoping to teach them how to read a green, course management, shot alignment and other tricks and tips. Unfortunately this can't be done at Laguna Oaks. We were badgered our entire round that we were too slow. It was recommended that the kids not finish every hole to keep pace. We did offer to have other groups behind us play through. They were fine with our pace and politely declined. Long story short. The old man who runs the place is an angry curmudgeon and should leave people be. He lost an entire family of customers today and everyone else that might...

Pros: The course was well maintained, along with being easy to pay for and tee off. It was beautiful to look at and had a fun way of increasing the difficulty of the holes. It has a beginner tee for people that do not want to play on the harder and longer tees.
Cons: The course had parts where it was very difficult to tell where the next hole was. This caused the time between holes to be longer. If there were signs that told you the direction of the next hole, this review...

People were walking up to the greens to look at the numbers on the flag to know where to go. Second, the condition and upkeep was sad. I cannot believe what they charge for a par 3 course that is only 8 holes and a total mess. After being bothered by staff a second time, we just gave up and left. Whatever you do, don't believe what you see on their website because you will be extremely...
