This is by far the worst Wawa I have ever been to in my life. The one person is the exception is the gentleman who works the cash register. I can’t remember his name at the moment, and I feel bad but I been sick and haven’t seen him in awhile but he always tells you to have a good day and a better tomorrow. He is about the only decent person in this place. It’s a shame he should be management. Frankly I think the issue of this store is the manager. Every other Wawa keeps the brown paper bags at the front and if you buy a lot they will give you one for free. This store the manager refuses because it’s against the rules. Well apparently every other store in south jersey has found a way around this, you could too. The deli is always a mess you will never get a sandwich made the same way twice and it literally tells you how to make it. I actually refuse to eat Wawa food now. Wawa use to have decent food but I met an employee of this store randomly and got into a conversation about the food. I was complaining that the food had taken such a down turn as of recently and she told me the food quality had actually been lowered and that now they serve the same food you would get served in a prison. While I would normally laugh it off as a lie, I actually believe it. Again I don’t expect much but they somehow still disappoint. Now I am almost 40 years old. Most of the time I stop for a pack of cigarettes and a drink. I don’t mind showing my id, it comes with the territory, but the other day I stop in here on my way home and the high school must of just let out. There was tons of students in there. I waited in line behind what looked like a 16 year old carrying a backpack. When they got up to the register the got a cigar and the cashier didn’t bother to ask for an id. When I got up to the register she demanded my id. Now I was in a bit of a bad mood and called her on the fact that she didn’t ask for the id of what I still believe was a high school student, and her only response was that it was too late and o well. Stuff like this annoys me beyond belief. I don’t mind showing my id but when you sell a kid something standing right in front of me, don’t give me a hard time right after. I have gotten to the point I rather just go to conaco and give them my money then deal with the collection of people...
Read moreMy girlfriend asked for Mint Juul cartridges to which the cashier Carol replied there aren't any at this register. She asked my girlfriend and her daughter to step to the back of the line while she helps others.. We made it back to the register the lines were smaller and Carol then asked the manager and and young gentleman in the deli for Mint cartridges.. which they replied they are in the back.. no one went to retrieve them.. we were then asked to step out of line while everyone else was served.. I waited a few minutes and went over to the deli and asked for a manager which is when they finally retrieved the Juul cartridges from the back..
Horrible customer service.. can't believe we were asked to step out of line while everyone else was taken care of and the lack of effort in from anyone else helping the cashier while she was having trouble at the register..
Also a week or so earlier we asked for Mint flavor cartridges and were given cucumber by the same cashier.. we got home and seen they were the wrong flavor.. we brought them back un-opened and asked them to exchange them for Mint.. we were told no refunds or exchanges after there mistake..
Horrible customer service..
I love wawa.. I spend at least 20-30 a day at Wawa.....
Read moreThe new store looks good but the service has really gone down. I went in the other day and ordered a simple toasted turkey sandwich on wheat. When I got home I opened the sandwich and the only thing that was right was the turkey! They called my number and I double checked the slip so I know it was my order. When I called in to let then know they apologized and said they would replace it. I thought all was good but when I went in to get it there seemed to be an issue. I went up to the cashier as I was told to do and she didn't believe me. She said she'd let me do it this time but she doesn't have any thing written down about it. I pulled out my phone and told her the exact time I called as I still have the call log. She said that was another shift. Dealing with customers properly isn't that difficult. I've worked customer service for years. It's not my fault for the employees mistakes and I shouldn't be questioned when I try...
