I am writing this review because I thought others should know what exceptional service I received at Sullivan’s Jewelers. I would go there routinely to get jewelry repaired and new batteries for watches. Over time, the staff there got to know me by name and then whenever I returned there, I was treated like an ol’ friend. There came a day where I decided to bring in my jewelry just because I wanted to see if I can trade for something I had an eye on in the store. Actually there were two pieces…but I would have been happy to trade just for one. John, the owner, reviewed my jewelry and made an offer…then I added more pieces and another offer was made. I ended up trading my jewelry and purchased two diamond rings in the store with Sherry, the Store Manager! I actually had enough trade dollars to also buy a pair of earrings I had been looking at too! I cannot tell you how excited I was to make the trade! My jewelry was pretty, but I just wanted something new. Sherry and John could not have been more accommodating and nice! They were professional and provided proper documentation for my new jewelry. I absolutely LOVE my new rings and earrings…and it did not cost me anything out of pocket which my husband was happy to hear too! Sullivan’s Jewelers is truly a great jewelry store and has so many styles to choose from because their inventory is consistently changing. They are fully staffed and are happy to help. I needed my engagement ring upsized and our neighbors recommended Sullivan Jewelers. We wanted a jeweler who would also allow us to watch the work being done as we did not want to leave the ring. We met with John Sullivan the owner who explained the different techniques and advised us on the best option. There was never an issue when we asked if we could watch the work being done. We were called within the week to set up the appointment as he had to order the gold. On the day of the appointment, we met with Chris Stokes, Master Goldsmith who would be doing the work and then watched thru the window while he cut and replaced the shank. He masterfully measured, examined and crafted the repair. He even explained much of the process. Prior to polishing he wanted to make sure the fit was accurate, so he came out and had me place the ring on and off multiple times til both he and I were happy with the fit. He then polished and cleaned the ring. Once completed you would never even know that any work was done – it was beautiful! He even cleaned my wedding band so they would both look beautiful together. My husband and I are so pleased with Sullivan Jewelers in general, but especially Chris. His expertise, knowledge and technical skills are amazing! Would highly recommend for all types of...
