My wife and I used George to knock down a wall ,add a small island, install a hood vent, and replace backsplash and counter tops. George made it seem that this was a quick two week job and his crew can finish it fast. Well, 18 weeks later we finally wrapped up the job. He should have ordered the cabinets prior to his trip to Greece because that takes 6 weeks to arrive, but he decided not to. George is basically a middleman and takes his cut outsourcing the work (which is fine but he’s been to Greece as many times as he’s shown up to actually see the work which is twice ) . I’m unsure if he just saw a young couple and wanted to take advantage of us. I wanted to fire him the second he said the island would take six weeks and he didn’t order it prior to his vacation. He stated he was unsure if the wall was weight bearing but I had two contractors give me a quote and they immediately knew it was not. Anyone with some experience should have been able to see it and in hindsight should have been my first red flag. My advice is hire a good general contractor and let them do the work. You’ll get far more value in the end when it’s all said and done. Avoid George. His workers Jimmy and Steve are great guys. The electrician he uses pulls no shows, shows up hours late and cuts holes way too big when he out in our recessed lights he’s a bit of a hack and it required caulking around the lights. George likes quick passable fixes and short cuts I found. If you have any issues , expect a week for an update and you’ll have to stay on top of him. If you have a question and George is out, God forbid anyone else can help you out.

My wife and I were recommended Boston Kitchen from my sister, who used them when she needed work done on her kitchen. We hired them for an entire kitchen remodel. George and his entire staff were a pleasure to work with and were very friendly/professional every time we walked in the door or called them. All of the professionals George used were fantastic and did exquisite work. I also appreciated his honesty when it came to matching tile with countertop/cabinets, recommendations for use of available space, and his ideas for overall aesthetic value. Below is a before and after picture. I have already recommended them to family/friends and I will continue to recommend them to more people in the future.

FANTASTIC! George and his team did a great job with our new kitchen. From the demolition to the final installation, George kept us informed and we always knew who would be showing up, when and what they would be doing. George was very responsive and professional. I am a professional project manager by trade. George - you are top notch!

After losing our home contractor we used for many years, we had to search for someone new to remodel our kitchen. Needless to say, finding a new contractor is an anxious task. After some searching, we decided to place a call to Boston Kitchen Designs. Literally within 10 minutes, our call was returned by George (owner), and he listened to what we were looking for. We scheduled a time for George to stop by and have a look at our current kitchen. George came by, had a look and listened to our ideas and desires, and provided some ideas of his own. Overall, a great first impression, and any second thoughts or anxiety soon went away.

From there we met at the Boston Kitchen Designs showroom to look at some designs and products. George provided drawings and a 3D model of our new kitchen design he envisioned with us. After some deliberations and final design tweaking we decided to move forward.

We did a complete remodel, including demolition of the entire kitchen, moving fixtures to different areas, new counters, cabinets, backsplash and flooring, as well as installing new lighting and opening up a wall to install new windows. The crew from Boston Kitchen Designs is awesome. Jimmy and Niko were very friendly, professional, clean, respectful and always on time. The remodel was performed during the Covid pandemic, and the crew always wore masks, as well as placing a temporary plastic divider in the kitchen entrance.

From demolition to installation to completion, we could not be more pleased. Any concerns or issues were dealt with quickly and effectively. We were waiting for the "gotcha" moment that often times comes up with projects such as a remodel, but it never came. George provided great explanations of what to expect during each step of the process, and personally visited on site on a regular basis.

George and his team delivered on all of their promises and provided us with a beautiful new kitchen for a fair and reasonable price. Looking back, now that the project is completed, we have no regrets or buyers remorse. George was honest, responsive and a joy to work with from the beginning. As mentioned, we are very pleased with the work Boston Kitchen Designs performed for us and will bring them back for a bathroom remodel in the future. Highly...

We decided to have Boston Kitchen Design redo our kitchen after reading positive reviews and meeting with George Menihtas, the owner. One thing we liked about choosing Boston Kitchen Design is that they did the entire job - design and contracting. George was really good to work with during the design process. He came up with a very nice scheme that addressed the issues we had with our kitchen's configuration. He was also a great help in selecting the new kitchen's design elements and colors...we avoided a couple of errors by using George's suggestions. George produced an excellent set of drawings for the new kitchen which allowed us to better visualize it. He provided a quote for the job which was very clear on what was included - and what was not - there were no surprises. After agreeing to proceed, George and his teams of sub-contractors worked on an incredibly rapid schedule. The sub-contractors were always there when George said they would be and they did quality work. Note that this was a complete gut of the old kitchen, down to studs. We started the design process in early July - the kitchen was completed in late October, an amazingly short time to design, procure hardware, demo and rebuild the kitchen to the new configuration. We are very happy with the new kitchen, and very happy that we decided to go with Boston...
