I arrived at Walgreens on Branch at 1:10pm to pick up my quadruple therapy of meds. for H. Pylori. I understand and fully respect the staff need to eat and have a lunch , they work hard, they deserve to eat. However, when we arrived, all my meds were not ready yet. We were instructed by another technician to do a lap around the building and come back and by time we get back to the window, all the meds will be ready. We did a lap around and one of the meds they filled was one that I already cancelled on the app. and they were missing a med. so Iāll have to return for that one. That, I am ok with. It happens. Whatever. However, what Iām NOT OKAY WITH is while I was talking to the technician, the pharmacist dropped down the shade and put up the, ā NO PHARMACIST ON DUTYā sign right in front of the technicianās faceā¼ļøā¼ļø I understand the pharmacist must have been hungry, but what kind of customer service is that??? The staff are so overwhelmed with their workload that they must feel it is ok to treat customers this way instead of waiting the extra minute it takes to finish giving out the meds and doing the instruction for the patient. And the meds I was picking up was for H. Pylori and there were strict guidelines for timing of them that I had to miss out on and contact a different pharmacy as to how to take them. As such it was ā criticalā the antibiotic and pepto had to be spaced as well as the antibiotic had to be spaced from food. This was all new to me and the pharmacist didnāt have the time to do his job. This was EXTREMELY RUDE and disrespectful!! And not very customer oriented!! The technician was very helpful, thank you sir, you were great but the pharmacist not so much. I think he needs some more classes on how to treat customers. And maybe itās Walgreensās fault for not giving their staff appropriate time to eat or having enough staff for each store. Still does not excuse the behavior of the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHi, long time Walgreens customer here. I don't normally visit the Branch St location as it's further from my home, and after yesterday my family and I won't ever be returning to this location again. Long story short, we made appointments for vaccines, arrived early, didn't get to even speak to someone until 20 past our first appointment time, waited over a hour to actually recieve our vaccines and the pharmacy tech who assisted us was curt, snappy and demanding with my kids, they kept interrupting me while I was trying to calm my kids down, they grabbed my youngest kid's arm and then mine when I didn't rush to hold them the way they wanted me to, cumulating the whole experience by using an unnecessary amount of wind up and force to jab each of us. The whole experience left a sour note that lingered for the rest of the day. I understand being shorthanded, and feeling rushed, but how this whole situation was handled from beginning to end was absolutely...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThere is a reason the Walgreens on Branch Street in Middleton has a 2.7 rating. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. The pharmacy is incompetent. Today I spent 15 minutes in line at the drive-through, (which is not unusual for this store - have waited in line up to 25 minutes), only to be told they lost my script. When I asked when I should come back, the employee said she had no idea, they had to redo the script, hung up and walked away from the window. Iāve dealt with this employee before and sheās always rude, but today was a new level. Wish I could tell you this is the first problem I have had with this store, but it is not. Have had several neighbors tell me they stopped using this store. Iām done as well. Have given this store numerous opportunities to keep my business in the past year and there has been no improvement. Taking my pharmacy business to Costco ā they have to be more competent than Walgreens and I know...
