I went to Rachelās Attic today for the first time.I will definitely be back! Hi, booth 99A. I was casually strolling along Rachelās Attic today (with way too many things in my cart) and I came across your booth. Iāve been looking for a table for my room to hold more plants. I donāt need more plants, but I like to think they need me š. I spotted a few tables along the way. I snapped a few photos so that I could remember which booth to go back to when I decided (again, my cart was too full to add anything to it) which one I wanted, if any. I came across your booth, I saw the table, glanced over it and then saw your sign.
I almost cried when I read what you wrote. I saw that table in a whole new way. I envisioned plants displayed so perfectly. I decided to add this table to the top of my cart, even if it didnāt fit. I didnāt want to risk someone else scooping up this treasure I just came across. I had a lot more browsing to do though. So, I held one hand on the table and one hand on the cart as I shopped. Something caught my eye and I let go of the table and it dropped on the concrete floor. I picked it up, just knowing I broke this table and was still going to buy it. However, when I picked it up, it was still sturdy, solid, not another noticeable scratch (it would be hard to tell with all the blemished it already had). It seemed like nothing happened to it at all. For me, that meant so much. To a lot of people, this is just a table that is old and scratched and seemed āuglyā. You helped me see this tableās potential by one small note that showed the real beauty it could have with just a coat of paint. I did paint the table. I plan to decorate the table with new life and give it a new purpose. I donāt know this tableās history, but I want to. It may have been used and abused, but it was still strong and sturdy, even after I dropped it again! I wish everyone could view other human beings the way you viewed this table. If we saw the beauty in every thing and everyone every single day, it would change the world. So, to you Mr/Ms that spelled ābeautifulā on your sign incorrectly and left it there confidently, thank you. Thank you for showing me that you understand what real beauty is even if you didnāt get the grammar right the first time. Also, I probably shouldnāt tell you this, but I would have paid more than $5.00 for this table just because of your note. There is so much beauty in this world, all we have to do is open our eyes. Iād like to share the before and after photos with you. I wish I would have remembered to take a picture before I started sanding⦠but - squirrel šæ š¤¦š»āāļø. Thank you for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt was high $ in many booths. I had a friend with me and she is very low income and we were just looking around and she was looking at a pc and price was on bottom, she turned it over somewhat and a glass ball thing fell off and broke. She was honest unlike others that just played stuff back and she took it up front and had to pay for it in full $73. She had $75 in her little bank acct. I thought that was a bit unfair that the pc was faulty and she had to pay 100% for an accident. . Looks like vendors would have ins of some kind for thieves and broken items that dishonest people cause. She has $3 for rest of month but she says I was holding it when it broke so it's my fault. The ball was supposed to have been glued in like 2 out of 3 were but it was not adhered. Beautiful place to shop but didn't like the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBy far one of the best antique malls in the tri-county area. For anyone that loves thrifting, vintage decor/ trinkets/ knick-knacks, and antique malls in general this place is a must. My wife and I have enjoyed selling and collecting vintage goods for quite some time now and after visiting the store we knew that was an operation that we wanted our company and brand affiliated with. Rachel's Attic is ran by Nancy and she does a great job of making all customers, guests, and vendors feel welcomed. Definitely a must stop shop. If you you get the chance stop by and tell them Blake sent you. While you are there check out booth #521, urbanrelicsco.(that's our Instagram handle as well) and get yourself a...
