I took my 8 yr old and had his bow checked out. It was a gift handed down from his cousin & kind of old but in good shape. Paige re strung the peep sight & turned the draw weight down, then took him to the range to try it out. We had a blast! He hit the zombie in the head twice. I bought some new broadheads for my crossbow & new arrows with field points for my son. Everyone here treats you like family & you feel it as soon as you walk through the door. They are great at what they do and are very knowlegable. They also dont want to " just sell you something" , especially if you dont need it. They will take the time and LISTEN to what you say & come up with the best solution for what you need. We will be going back for all our gear & work. P.s.- I live 90 miles away and found Silver Birch Archery through Pike County Outfitters when I bought my Pa. hunting license.

I went back to Silver Birch and Russ had a really nice Tenpoint crossbow he was assembling out of the box. He told me he bought it for inventory. It never made the shelf and cost half as much with the case & extra arrows than the Excalibur I am returning to an online store. He even did some cosmetic wraps on the bow for me. Thanks again Russ, you have another life...

What a great place to visit! The first time I visited was for my birthday. I’ve been wanting to go archery for a while and this was my brother’s birthday present. On my way there, I was a bit intimidated because I have never done archery before and thought of being surrounded by experts being an amateur. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcome. I explained I’ve never done archery before and was immediately assigned an instructor that helped me learn what I needed to know and more. Other employees came by offering support and assistance as needed. At the end of that day, I knew more than I ever knew about archery, so much so that watching archery videos of the Olympics felt like I acquired a new language - I was able to understand and relate to. A few weeks after my first visit, I went back with my two other siblings, my parents, brother-n-law and niece, they loved it! My 84yold dad tried his aim and he did great! I was doing so good my brother got me a beautiful bow from them as a Christmas present. Thanks for making a 14yr old boys night!!! I can not thank Russell & staff enough for what they did for my son. My son managed to save up all summer to purchase a new bow. As one can attest that process is one that is challenging because of the fear of not getting ripped off or just simply not getting what one truly wants. SBA made this process so simple and we left the store not only extremely happy with what we chose to buy, but definitely will do ALL my archery business there in the future. WHY? Above and beyond attention to what the customer wants and needs. Stayed after hours to make sure the bow was perfect. Never once insulting a brand of bows to try and push a particular brand over another. Allowed to shoot all brands to compare and see. As if the thinking is the bow chooses the archer and not the other way around. Could see that he cared that my son was very satisfied with his purchase. Final note: This is how a business should be run. It was not the product or the prices though those are excellent as well. It was the process that made this experience...
