John at Short Hills Custom has made all of my suits, dress shirts, sport coats and dress slacks for more than a decade. Always fit just right, and he guides me and my two grown boys on selection of details including custom linings on jackets and the attention to detail is incredible. He even advises on custom button spacing, collar length and cuff corners on the custom shirts and has an amazing selection of fabrics from which to select for all his goods. In addition, he advises on shoes, overcoats, and even socks.

I always feel great wearing Short Hills clothes and get regular compliments on new orders when I find something fun and different.

Picked up my suit and I love it! John was terrific throughout the whole process, helping me choose styles and fabrics, and general advice. I really did appreciate that on my first visit, he did his best to get me into a less expensive off the rack suit, but once we did the measurements, he let me know that custom was really the best option (which is what I was planning on anyway).
