Crepe Craft Cafe — Restaurant in Springfield

Ok so it’s 11:45 pm at night and I’m baked, ironically there’s a smoke shop across the street from Crepe Craft, anyways I’m walking around my neighborhood to see what’s open where I can satisfy my munchies. I was thinking of walking up to the 7/11 on morris in Springfield anyway I stumble across crepe crafts before I get there I check out there menu and such I decide I’m going to go with one of my favorites when I used to drink alcohol, a pina colada. So Maria one of the two people working the place Anas being the other. Ask me if I want whip cream and I think about it before I decided to say yes I was thinking they are also gonna do it up and make the drink look pretty and me and Maria get to talking a bout the fruits she decorates it with and she said she could put strawberries and pineapple on it and such. So I’m all ok great. She rings me up and soon as that tip screen came up I knew I was gonna tip 30 percent because she was giving chic fil a type service her and Anas (On us) . Like I was asking about how long the place has been there and etc anyways they said they were a new business and such and it was my first time being in there and they wanted me to post the drink on instagram and etc so i thought I do them one better since my Instagram doesn’t have a lot of “traffic” on it but my reviews do. I went to Crepe Craft for the first time about a month ago. I ordered a Nutella milkshake, and it was beyond delicious! When you ask for Nutella, you get Nutella! The flavor was so good and hit the spot I was looking for, for the most part. I did want a thicker milkshake than what was given to me, but the taste made up for any missing thickness.

The kind young woman who took care of me also accidently gave me a medium when I ordered a small. She apologized and did NOT charge me for the medium. So sweet! I really appreciated her kindness and definitely want to go back for another milkshake and to try other treats. :)

Also, The atmosphere is so cool! I LOVE how they decorated the interior of the establishment. I was admiring the design choices the entire time I waited for my drink to be made. I definitely got positive and good vibes from this places and would honestly go there to chill out and do work for a while.

I can't comment on the atmosphere because I didn't eat at the restaurant. I ordered through uber eats. I did like the crepe. What I didn't like was being charged for items I didn't receive and instead of calling me and asking if they could send me 2 other items to replace what they ran out of they charged my card for 3 items and only sent me one. They didn't even send me the free item they advertised if you ordered one berry crepe you get a second free. Very bad customer service and uber is telling me I can't get a refund I will be calling my credit card after it finishes pending to initiate a dispute. Had things not turned out this way I would have been a regular customer but I will find another crepe place...
