UPDATE 2/13/20: After posting this review last week, the owner of the store called us and apologized for everything and made things right! I truly appreciate it. He reads these reviews and takes action when needed. Although my experience before was not so great, this time around was better! The table was delivered today and looks great!! Now that I know they care about the customer, I will shop again! ORIGINAL REVIEW: I paid for a dining room set on Jan 30 2020 and was told the order will be ready for pick up at a warehouse on 2/7/20. Went to pick it up, there is no customer area to enter let alone a door handle so had to bang on the door for about 10 minutes then when the guy comes, he asks for the receipt, takes it then comes back after 20-30 minutes just to say the Order was never placed. Went back to this store location and explained the order is not there. I was offered to wait another week for it, but would deliver it free, no apology was made. No offer to call another store no offer to expedite the new request. I asked for a credit to be applied towards a future purchase due to their error, this request was declined since we declined the free delivery offer. At this point I’m done doing business with them and I requested to get my money back. Was told 3-5 business days. I don’t think this was professional or good business. Read moreThe young lady that help me with my purchase was very sweet and helpful. I did read a lot of reviews on Facebook that delivery charges were a lot. I have to agree with that. I purchase a 2 piece set ( sofa & loveseat) for $399 my total was $496! Almost $100 extra for taxes and delivery charges. I guess its more for the distance to deliver. However; my only issue with the set was that it came with SCREWS and not the normal pop in and twist legs for the couch. I ended up having to ask a male relative to help screw them in because it did not come with pre-holes. I do love my set but I'm not sure if I'll purchase more couches from them in the future.
Update: I just purchased the items pictured and fell in love with my sectional! I have not had the opportunity to set up my bedroom set but I hope despite the delivery drivers putting the boxes on the wrong side that nothing is damaged. The delivery and taxes was A LOT this time around ( Almost $200!!!) Overall, customer service at the store was great and I love the fact that the delivery drivers kept in contact with me upon arrival. Will I return in the future... Yes, due to nice furniture and great prices ( before the taxes and delivery charges is applied) also, their furniture does NOT have bedbugs like other furniture stores I heard about!!! Read moreBuyer Beware. I am delayed doing this review because I wanted to allow the store to fix their mistakes/issues. Unfortunately, at this time they have not. Table chairs cut too short and missing a chair to my set. Sent pictures via email as advised and still had to call because no one responded. Only to have the store manager send a guy from the warehouse to my home. He confirms that the chair legs were cut too short and I was missing a chair. 4 weeks later, I have not received the replacements promised. She responded via email and in person like she was going to take care of it. But all lies. I ordered 3 beds. They delivered one without the railings. Delivery driver confirmed, warehouse confirmed, and two weeks later.... Still missing railing.
I am tired of sending emails and calling. They choose to not answer my calls and screen them. Unprofessional and I'm going to take further action. I have not received what I paid for. I am going to file a complaint to the BBB and dispute with my credit card company as well. If that doesn't work, I will go to small claims court. Reputational risk is very damaging in the community. I have documented emails and calls with no response. I requested for the owner to call me and was declined.
Lastly, it's unfortunate because I am a returning customer. I have ordered from them in the past. But...
