Murray Pantry — Local services in Milwaukee

I just went to Murray pantry with my 2 BLACK friends. Mind you I have been going to this pantry for 3 years now. These past few weeks I have been harassed and I believe it was racially motivated. I pay ALL the time so I don’t understand why I’m always followed around the store other than the fact that I’m black. When we get there we are stripped away from anything but our money. Back to today’s story. I went in and he says like alway “tu’ kidz” (I know how to spell I’m just over exaggerating). So I pay for it and he was being rude to me. So I told him I’m writing a yelp review. So he chases after me and yells “your banned from my store”. So since I’m banned and I can’t get my after school snack I will dedicate my time to shed light on the racially motivated attacks on my people. Plus the prices change often depending on the race of the costumer. The people at Murray pantry might have the same skin color as us but they are very prejudice And racist anyway. They also don’t count very well I’ve been robbed by them a couple of times. They tried to call the cops on me because they mistaked me for another brown kid. Either way this is the last straw. Some of the workers are very disrespectful and rude. I went there to get a snack and I was cursed at by a employee. Also there prices are way to high I was getting a bag of chips and they charged me two dollars for a small bag. I wouldn't recommend going there I would just go somewhere with cheaper prices and better customer service. And I went with my two BLACK friends and he was so rude he kicked us out bc were black and we couldn't understand him. Get a receipt. They often double charge you thinking you won’t notice. Depending on the person working, they’ll sometimes charge anywhere from $1-$6 over the listed price & often won’t price things so they can over charge for items. Their frozen foods & drinks are often expired so check the label before purchase because they’ll refuse to give a refund. They don’t operate by the hours they’ve set & will yell at you to get out of if I’m a hurry.
