I really didn’t wanna write a review, but I feel the need to so that no one else steps in my shoes. I went to this shop to have my son dreadlocks re-twisted being charged 130 bucks by one of the stylus. She had never seen his hair, nor have I ever been in the shop before. But I chose the shop because it was a lot closer to home. She charges an additional 25 bucks for style so altogether about 155, 160 which was a fair price but I’m not happy to be charge that type of price with my son Hair looking like this. I feel like the price should’ve been cut in half due to the fact that we agreed not to use any product in his hair because she felt like his hair needed to be started from scratch by her and with her fees being $600 for a starter dreads🤦🏾‍♀️. This was my son 4th time getting his hair re-twisted paying $130.00 each time and though the last hairstylist use too much hair product, his hair came out looking a lot better than this style. I’m a disappointment and will definitely not return. I also didn’t like the owners attitude. I wanted her to style and color my 12-year-old daughter here she wanted to charge 200 bucks for just a block of color. She seem like she had an attitude just because I didn’t understand her terminologies of doing here and when I brought my son to the shop to get his hair done the owner seem like she still had an attitude but I’m assuming it must’ve been for something else because she hadn’t even greeted me anyways, I took my daughter somewhere else to get her hair done which was a lot cheaper and very satisfied with the work put into her hair, so thank you a.k.a. lavish I...

This was my second time having Latoya work on my hair and she is amazing! She's fast, professional, and knowledgeable. She does not "forget" you under the dryer or at the sink like all other places I've been in my life time, she checks on you and asks you if your doing ok while waiting for your deep conditioner to heat or your hair to dry. I can appreciate that teaches as she works. Latoya will check with you before she trims your hair and will encourage you to and help you to make the healthiest decision for your hair. I can tell she actually likes her job and gives it her all each time and I appreciate that. She got me In and out each time with quality results, and I can't count the amount of compliments ive gotten on my hair! I had been a customer for more than 3 months and never paid a deposit for services with the same stylist. I get a call at 6 in the morning the day of my son's hair appointment from the stylist saying if I don't pay my deposit, my appointment will be canceled!! On another occasion this same stylist was doing his hair and I said I'm going to get something to eat and she asked for me to bring her something back but didn't give me any money and didn't reimburse me for what I purchased for her! Another incident occurred when I was trying to get money from an ATM nearby I showed her what I was going to pay by card on my phone and she took it upon herself to send a higher amount to herself and over drafted my account!
