Long time shopper here. During my last visit upon checkout the cashier asked for my membership phone number. I give her my number to wish I get weekly coupons texted to. This time my membership wasn't coming up. I showed her my phone which reflects all of the coupons I get but still she wasn't finding my membership. She asked if I wanted to join their membership program to which I replied I thought I was a member. I get all of these coupons and I've been a shopper here for 20+ years. I also added if I'm not a member by now then I'll pass. The cashier gave me a look of confusion and asked if I was sure? Thats when I begin to think to myself ersonally I worked many years in retail (longer then this young lady has even alive) not only as an associate but also management. 1) mistake was asking me if I was sure I didn't want to sign up before selling me on why I should sign up to begin with! But I repeated "I'll pass". I stood there for another minute as she was typing on the complete CLEARLY CHEATING A FAKE MEMBERSHIP!. I asked can non members shop here or has there been a change recently? She simply shook her head. I even asked if she was creating an account whish to my surprise she admitted she did!!! I appreciated her honesty but I asked why did she have to do that to which she replied "not doing so effects my numbers and we could get in trouble for that". I paid for my things and wished her well. I will probably no longer shop there as I was already making a 30 minute drive from Greenfield to Browndeer anyways. Besides I'm not sure how the owners would feel knowing their employees were falsely creating store...
Read moreI wish I could give a No star! I had 2 pair of pants and a blazer tailored at K&G in Milwaukee Wisconsin about a week ago, my experience was awful!!! The tailor seemed as though she didn’t want to do what I wanted done which was taking in a pair of pants and a blazer and hemming both pairs of pants. The 3rd pair of pants had a white panel down the sides which she said would not look right so I didn’t leave them. She tried to talk me out of getting the blazer taken in because she said it was fine (my thought was, haven’t you ever heard of a tailored blazer? People do it all the time!). When I picked up my clothes a week later the pants that were to be taken in felt larger than they were when I dropped them off!!! Nothing was done to them. Another tailor said that there was no markings on them stating that they needed to be taken in! So she hadn’t even marked it on the ticket to be taken in? I was hotttt!!! The women took in the pants as we discussed how much I wanted taken in the day I dropped them off. The last tailor had the audacity to tell me that I could pay for them to be taken in now if I wanted. WHAT!!!! Why would I have you guys do anything else when you didn’t do a good job the first time. Even the hem was janky, I could’ve done that, next time I will. Maybe they do men’s tailoring better, I can...
Read moreIs it just me, or is it really hard for men to find nice suits? I want something that looks a little (or a lot) different from what everyone else is wearing, I want something in my size, and I dont want to pay a lot.
So far, K&G is the only place I've found in Wisconsin that consistently checks all these boxes. Yes, you have to dig to find the suits you're looking for. Yes, the marked prices are often much higher than what you'll actually pay, and the sales are confusing. Yes the selection is often very picked over. Yes the bathrooms and changing rooms are sometimes dirty. Yes the staff is sometimes rude or unhelpful (I've also found them to be excellent and helpful, depending on the visit.)
Show me somewhere else that has a wide variety of suits under $200, including some conservative, some fashion forward, some "urban".
It's a chain, they have stores in most or all states. Sign up for their texts and you'll get better deals.
They also have shirts, ties, shoes, hats, sweaters, blazers, coats, accessories. They also have women's suits. My ex used to get her business suits here.
If you're looking for something specific, try to catch them when they get a new...
