I’ve had Dave Myers as a trainer for years including before and after open heart surgery. Dave had been a thoughtful and careful planner in that recovery to meet my goals for gradual progress back to an active and fit lifestyle. I was previously athletic, but struggled to get back into fitness because I had unrealistic expectations and would get frustrated with myself and stop. I told Katelyn this during my intake and she’s really helped me make amazing progress and slowly eased in to pushing me harder without scaring me away! It’s so nice to go to the gym and workout HARD, but have a wonderful time because I get to spend and hour with a fantastic person. Read moreStep Above Training is true to its name. The big difference for me is that Dave truly customizes his workouts to your needs. Example - I was dragging one morning and he noticed my walk was different as I walked across the street from my car. He changed our leg workout on the fly so I could mobilise more and then changed the exercise so I would not be injured. Many places just throw the same standard workout at you with little thought or planning. Not the case here.
