The Fitzgerald | A Venue by The Pabst Theater Group — Attraction in Milwaukee

My wife and I absolutely were in love with the venue from the first time we walked through it. The ballroom and courtyard offer a unique setting in one of the best neighborhoods of the city to host your event.

The attention to detail throughout the first floor drew great reviews from our guests. My wife and I enjoyed having dedicated suites upstairs to prepare as well. Some of the parlor rooms also offered different and unique photo opportunities if you are looking for a classic elegant aesthetic.

The exclusive caterer was excellent to work with. They were known for their BBQ, so our menu was BBQ brisket and pulled chicken with all classic sides. We got many compliments for offering such a different (and delicious) food offering. Having to work with just this one caterer reduced the scope of planning which was great.

The stage in the ballroom setup perfectly for the live band we brought in and the venue was very helpful to ensure the band had everything they needed to get setup in a timely manner. Our guests stayed late and danced all night.

Lastly, our day of coordinator Ben was great. He could not have been more helpful and gracious with his time leading up to the wedding. He really put our minds at ease, we knew we would be good hands on the wedding day. During the day Ben was great spinning all the plates making sure each vendor knew when to arrive and where to go. It made what could've been a stressful day one of the best days of our lives.

Where to even begin? From the get-go, Monique was always very prompt, professional, and organized from start to finish. She truly went above and beyond to make sure my partner and I were comfortable!

Our wedding was gothic queer wedding and we felt very welcome and in such good hands when working with Monique.

Above all, The Fitzgerald honored our old contract from the previous business owner and considering all the changes that were made to the venue, this was extremely generous!

We had no wedding planner besides ourselves + the help of our wedding party, and Monique was a great support throughout the entire process, including the day of.

The venue itself is breathtaking. It truly fit the heart of our theme - gothic romance. It's ADA friendly and gender inclusive. It had everything we desired - a dressing suite for each groom, another room to do our first look in and so many areas for beautiful photos and seating.

Monique was also able to help me out just in the nick of time as I walked the aisle alone and had no one else to help fluff out my cape. This moment means the world to me and just goes to show the care, attention and passion Monique has for her clients.

Configuring our room flip, rehearsal, and bar package was so incredibly easy. Monique walked us through the entire process, which was especially helpful as ... of course, we've never done this before!

When I first saw the photos online, I told my now husband do not show me The Villa unless we intend on getting married at this venue because I knew I would fall in love. When we took the tour and I finally had to the opportunity to meet Tina I immediately fell in love. The venue was perfect, classic, warm, romantic, inviting and the perfect size for our 150 guest wedding. We did not feel it was necessary to spend a lot on decorations because The Villa has beautiful decor already. We also used one of their preferred caterers Ball'n'Biscuit which took a lot of stress off us since the owner Maria worked with Tina and team many of times. We had an outdoor wedding with an indoor reception and the weather could not have been better. We felt like celebrities since we had the neighboring apartments watching our wedding on their balconies. We even got to include our dog Myles in the ceremony (and yes he wore a tux!). Tina and Janice also helped us find the perfect package that worked with our budget for cocktails too. When Tina could not attend the day of our wedding, Lizzie stepped in to ensure everything was perfect every step of the way.
