BOYCOTT THIS RACIST WALGREENS SHOW THEM IN 2018 RACISM WON'T BE TOLERATED & REPORT THEM TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU!!!! This Walgreens makes a common practice of racist behavior and have multiple negative reviews because of racist employees!!! Teresina a cashier racial profiles customers and is a racist... She followed me around the store and when I made it clear I noticed she made a racist comment asking if I was babysitting or if my son was mine because although he is mixed his skin is light like Caucasian people. When I went to check out I went to a different cashier and ask if my formula was brought to the front Teresina said she had it and demanded I move all my items and come in her line when she should have just gave the two cans to the cashier I was in front of. She was extremely rude with her demand and I specifically was trying to avoid further contact with her due to her prior racist comment. I was forced to move all my items to her register and check out with her. I took my money out to pay and was swiping my card when I noticed someone left there change in the chance dispenser. I picked up the change to give it to Teresina but before I could say anything she literally starts yelling repeatedly in front of everyone in the front of the store I was stealing... Mind you I had over $300 of my money in my hand and it was just change someone left behind it wasn't even close to $1!! And I was going to give it to her and let her know someone left it. I put the change on the table and slid it to her explaining that I only picked it up to give to her but she didn't give me the chance to. At this point I'm livid I have never felt so disrespected in my life. I requested a supervisor finish my transaction. When Amanda a supervisor approached Teresina again started yelling lies saying that I was stealing and I threw things at her. First of all Teresina the multiple store cameras can prove your lying and secondly I picked up the discarded change to give to you but even if someone did take discarded change someone left thats not stealing!!! Amanda the manager dryley complete my transaction said nothing about Teresina disrespectful, racist and unprofessional behavior. When I asked Amanda for the cashier's name so I could make a report with the corporate office she became very defensive and rude and refused. I explained that it was my right to report my experience to corporate and that as a manager her refusal and attitude and poor treatment of me was terrible customer service and reflected on her lack of management skills. Needless to say I reported them both to the corporate office and I will not ever give Walgreens my business or Money again and am considering reporting them to the better business bureau as well depending on how the corporate office handles the situation. I would like to add that David in cosmetics should be promoted to manager and replace Amanda he goes above and beyond with the customer service he provides unlike his co workers. Amanda lacks the customer service and management skills to be a manager and Should be demoted as manager. David should definitely replace her as manager. And Teresina should be fired because she is racist, profiles customers, makes racist comments to customers, accused a customer of stealing discarded change, yelled in front of the whole store, lied multiple times, has zero customer service skills and the list goes on. Read moreConsistently horrible pharmacy. Seems like it’s mostly due to understaffing, but there are obvious issues from the top down.
There is only one nice woman who ever helped me out, followed up with me via phone call, and actually contacted my doctor or insurance when I really needed my meds.
I am on a medication that requires me to pick up within 7 days of seeing my doctor. It was rarely ready within that timeframe.
Out of the 5 months I used this pharmacy, 3 of those months I had to personally check back in with my doctor and call around to my insurance to send an additional prescription. Different techs would say they’ve called my insurance or doctor when they had not.
The other two months I actually picked up my medication on time, I had to reason with staff and come back to the store multiple times, call several times for a status, and wait in long lines (20+ mins) to get my meds.
It will take you an entire day or more to pick up a single prescription, and there is zero empathy or explanation when you are asked to come back later or tomorrow or to basically just figure it out by yourself.
If you take routine medicines or experience withdrawals from your medications, DO NOT send your rx to this pharmacy because you will feel incredibly anxious every time you need to pick up your meds. Read moreCalled for a vaccine/flu shot and was told to use the online website to book an appointment, which I did for that evening. When I arrived I scanned the QR code at the pharmacy as instructed and waited 45 minutes to be called. No call, so I asked the pharmacy worker why I haven't been called yet. She said they were busy and the computer doesn't see people on the list in the store or check them in despite my many receipts, text confirmations, and emails to the contrary that evening confirming, checking in, and reminding me of my appointment that came & went as I was waiting at the pharmacy counter for 45 minutes. When I asked the photo assistant manager about it, he said the store manager had a mental health breakdown and was out for another week, while saying it was my fault for waiting so long. I can see why mental health problems are an issue at this Walgreens store with employees like that working here. Didn't even try to resolve anything-no thought of customer service.
