Brock Ebikes LLC — Local services in Milwaukie

After doing some research, I found Brock Ebikes on the website for the manufacturer of the bike I was originally interested in. When I called, they did not have that bike in stock, however they had an older model and invited me to come and try it. So, if I liked it they could order the newer model for me, complete with assembly for the same price the manufacturer would charge without assembly. I'm handy, but I'd much rather have a professional just to be sure, very convenient! That initial phone call was such a positive experience, so friendly and helpful, that I felt they would be a good place to take my business to, and I was right!

When I visited the store I was introduced to an additional model they thought might be a good fit for my needs. It also had the benefit of being in stock and ready to walk out the door.

After doing more research, I came back the next day when I had lots of time and drove both e-bikes. JP was very friendly, respectful, and knowledgeable. His natural enthusiasm for e-bikes made the experience more fun as well.

I settled on the e-bike they had in stock, as it better fit my needs than the one that I had originally intended, and JP helped me get it set up completely so that it was ready for me to use right away. He also helped me make some modifications to it that I was interested in. And helped direct me to accessories that would meet my needs. At no time was he pushy or tried to sell me on extras. It was a very customer driven experience.

I was also surprised to see how reasonable the prices were for the accessories. It made it possible for me to get the things I needed right away and not have to wait to get them from Amazon. He even threw in a free bottle holder and a very nice multi-tool.

When I was ready to go JP even helped me install my bike rack onto my car, which I hadn't used in a while. It was so much easier!

Throughout the rest of the day, I found myself with more questions and ideas that I wanted to run by JP. I felt very comfortable calling and discussing them with him. He was very friendly and helpful and did not make me feel like I was imposing, but that it was simply an extension of the customer experience.

For all these reasons I would highly recommend Brock Ebikes. They met or exceeded all my expectations leaving me...

I decided on the Aventon Level 2 and am in love. I have become a daily bike commuter now, covering about 13 miles a day. Already put 100 miles on the bike with no issues. So grateful to have a LBS with folks like JP.

I had such a good experience here And I haven’t even bought a bike yet. I came in on a rainy day just to begin my research into what I am looking for in a bike. JP was kind, patient and personable.

Narrowed down my options to the Aventon Adventure or the level. While leaning toward the adventure I asked if they could get me a different colorway and without hestiation he said - yes - I can do that - and I’ll put it all together for you as well.

I’ll be back to test drive on a dry day, but my visit solidified that I’ll be buying from this shop when the time is right. Support your local bike store, support your community.

Great response time and communication. Took my Lectric XP to him for a tune up because my breaks were pretty much non existent, the wheel disc would constantly make a grinding noise, and my chain would pop off and get jammed every other day. I use it for deliveries so I need it to be reliable on a daily basis and every hour i was without it was money I wasn’t making. He got it done the same day and was even courteous enough to allow me to pick it up early the next day so I didn’t miss out on too much of my deliveries. Bike rides even better than new in my opinion, breaks are nice and tight, my gears switch much more smoothly and feel more reliable. Also educated me on how to maintain the bike and better adjust my breaks. Great experience and didn’t feel the service was at all overpriced....
