If you're shopping for an engagement ring, don't be turned off by the shabby look of the place. The quality of jewelry and the outstanding service was enough to steer my fiance away from larger, fancier chain jewelry stores and straight into the doors of Nisbett, a small, family-owned business that has been there for over 20 years. He said other places were all about upselling, but not so here. I was so excited after the proposal and we rushed into the store around noon on a Saturday. The gentleman who had helped my fiance along the way was kind enough to offer to have it sized the same day, even though I realistically expected to get it back Monday evening. He worked up until closing time buffing and shining, and sure enough, in less than four hours, I had my ring back - "Because I know how important it is for you to have it back," he said. I was unhappy with the, less than silvery, appearance, of my new ring. It looked dingy and not the shiny silver that is expected with white gold. It also had sharp edge on the band, which cut into my finger. Instead of offering to do a rhodium dip and rounding the edges, for no charge (I paid over $1300 to Nisbetts to have this ring made, using my own diamonds and trading in 3, 14 carat rings and several gold chains), they offered to do rhodium for $125.00. I took the ring to Fred Meyer jewelry and they are softening the edges and doing a double rhodium dip for $55.00 total! If you want to be overcharged and frustrated, get your jewelry here! I got my wedding rings resized and fused together, and Robert did a fabulous job! I got them back in less than a week and for a reasonable price. He fused the bands at the bottom and the top for longevity and you can’t event tell!

Updated: I got my bands fused in October, and sadly they came apart less than a month later. I thought the cold temperatures might have played a role, so I waited until March to get them re-fused. Robert did the work free of charge and had it ready the same day! Amazing! Very happy with...
