Ben Franklin — Local services in Mineral Point

Every summer my Mom and Dad took my brother and me up north to a true log cabin that his friends built and we would spend a week in Grayling usually in July! We all loved it...NO TV, NO LANDLINE TELEPHONE, just the beach, a boat, swimming, fishing, and a few nights, Dad would build a fire and we would all make 'S'mores'! Remember, a box of Graham Crackers, a big big white Marshmallows and bunch Hershey's Chocolate Bars = HEAVILY YUMMY❣❣❣❣ Mom and Dad would take us into town (about 10-15 from drive) the log cabin of I-72 back towards IS-75 to a great store called 'Ben Franklin'! They had the VERY BEST nostalgic candy, that we could NEVER EVER find anywhere else! We also went to the 'Putt-Putt Gokf Course and afterwards we would go enjoy a great old fashion Ice Cream Soda Shoppe, to enjoy our Rootbeer Float and Verner's Ice Cream Float🥃🍦🍩🍭 I was feeling nostalgic and decided to see if I could order anything from any 'Ben Franklin's Stores'! I just learned that the only one left is in Wisconsin and it's closing too!😥 ☆ Guess it time to search for all my favorite candies as a kid and see if I still enjoy those special treats from the past! 🤩 Sadly, I have to turn to technology, just to find all my...
