What a great place. The bartender was friendly and she suggested food accordingly.

I had the clam strips and it was a healthy portion and they were delicious.

I also had their steak supreme sandwich. I added jalapeños to it. This sandwich did not disappoint. The bread was toasted whixh is always a plus. Their onions were grilled along with the mushrooms to top off the steak. It was satisfying and filling sandwich.

The locals were extremely friendly and fun to converse with. They told me about the fourth of July fireworks. And, now I am Looking forward to making another stop again hopefully for the fourth of july.

Absolutely love this place! We go here every time we visit Mineral Point. Very family/kid friendly for a bar. The food is amazing. Half pound burgers are excellent, but everything is great. Fries are top notch as well. They offer pasties too, a staple for this, as well as many mining towns such as those in the U.P. but they do tend to sell out. Must be popular with the locals. We've enjoyed our stay in MP and this place is the best find so far! We had so much fun watching the activity on the grill and behind the bar. Wonderful service, nice atmosphere. Blue Gils were DE-LICIOUS! Recommend the on-tap Ale. We heard it was best pizza in town and sure looked good whizzing past us to its table. So we ordered pizza for 530 pick up for our dinner tonight, and lunch on our way back out of town will be one of the big, fat burgers we saw so many of at...
