Did a great job on my pedicure. The guy took time to make sure my feet looked fantastic, which I really appreciated.

As for my manicure... He encouraged me to do a gel manicure instead of acrylic because he said the acrylic would be really bad for my nails- which was nice because it showed that he cared more about the health of my nails than the money (gel was cheaper). I appreciated that, but it kind of made me feel like he didn't want to do acrylic. And his daughter (?) told me I couldn't have a design because her mom wasn't there that day.

Also, when I made the appointment over the phone, I had said I wanted my nails sculpted, but when I was there he used the tips. This is also partially my fault though because I saw what he was doing and didn't say anything.

My hands look great from a couple feet away, but if I look at them up close, they're not very good. He didn't even soak my hands, cut my nails, or trim my cuticles! He didn't do anything except put the nails on. This may be because he'd already spent an hour and a half on my feet, but that amount of time certainly didn't need to be spent on my feet- my hands needed it a lot more! I would have liked to have my cuticles trimmed or SOMETHING. That was really disappointing to me. And the acrylic nails look ok... but not nearly as good as I had hoped. They don't cover my whole nail at the cuticles, so it's almost like they need to be filled already. And he sent me away before the nail polish was dry because he had me there almost an hour after they'd closed! So my nails got wrecked in places and I had to fix them myself. I don't blame him for trying to get me out of there, but my appointment was at 4 pm, and I didn't get to leave until almost 8 pm.

All of this was tolerable, but the part that bothered me the most was how he kept talking politics. He went on for almost the whole time I was there about how terrible the president is (and other democrats). It was actually pretty painful for me to listen to even though I'm not democratic. I didn't go to the salon to listen to someone rant about how terrible certain things in the country or world are. AND I certainly didn't go there to hear about how his wife is jealous of his ex and how his ex wouldn't marry him and didn't want to have kids, and how much his current wife loves him. I just wanted to relax!

All in all, I was pretty disappointed. It just wasn't the experience...

I made an appointment for me and my bridesmaids for gel mani/pedis. Waited a half hour before they would even start on one of us while staff just mingled around doing who knows what. They were not busy and appeared to make staff available for our group. TOOK 5 HOURS for 4 of us. They kept switching between us and didn’t do anything in order. Would stop in the middle of the manicure and start on someone else, and then trade places again. It was so inefficient. And, toward the end when we just wanted it to be over... an older man who worked there randomly approached me and asked if I wanted to hear a joke. I said sure. And said “Do you know why we can wear these hats (we were both wearing fedoras) and they can’t?(pointing to two of my bridesmaids sitting next to me) because we are tall and thin and they are not.” And started laughing while we all stared at him in awkward disgust. Then the nail tech said with an attitude “he was just joking.” Will NEVER go here again. I’ve been here a few times before and have never been happy with the service. Bugs crawling around on the floor, excessive signage to watch your kids (while their own loud annoying kids are running around in your face). Oh, and they’ll...

I did a walk-in appointment and as usual i prepared myself to wait a while. But I waited for 3 hrs and ended up not receiving any service. Reason being they didn’t have the color that I wanted and I wasn’t informed that the “circled” colors are the only ones that are available. At first I wanted to do gel powder so it looks natural. But they don’t have the materials to do that. So, while waiting i settled on just getting gel polish. But I was such a limit on the colors despite the many color displays. The staff is friendly but they could’ve done better. GET MORE PRODUCTS! And check in with waiting customers to make sure what they want done you’re able to deliver. 3 hour wait is...
