I absolutely LOVED my shopping experience at this store! I was in need of a nice, new, cute, comfortable suit for a work incentive trip to the Caribbean. I was a little hesitant going at first because I am really self conscious and I wasn’t super happy with how I looked physically and usually shopping trips end in tears. I walked in and was greeted and helped right away. I agreed to do the try-on experience & all the suits the staff picked out were exactly what I told them I was looking for. When you try on a suit they ask you to come out & they give great constructive comments! Things like “OMG THAG LOOKS GREAT” or “ya know that’s not my favorite but the color looks good on you”, which definitely helps when you’re unsure or uncomfortable. After being there for awhile and trying on a couple suits I wasn’t sure exactly which one I wanted until one of the ladies brought in one I would’ve never thought to try on & I LOVED IT!! Wore it on the trip and I got non-stop compliments. The suits are a little more expensive than what I would normally buy but it was totally worth it for the experience and the durability & comfort of the suit I got. Here's the deal: It's a personal shopping experience in Edina - it's not cheap. I see some complaints about the price, but you should be expecting to pay more if this is where you are choosing to go.

That being said, I have been buying swimsuits online and sending them back, buying them at Target and bringing them back and was having no luck. I made an appointment and I went in thinking that nothing will look good anyway, so I'll give this a shot. The personal service of having the swimsuits already in my room and also a lot of things that I normally wouldn't pick out was really fun. Everything fit perfectly and honestly, they were a size bigger than I would chosen myself. I found an amazing suit and probably could've bought more. Yes, it was more than I planned on spending, but the fit and lack of worry that I will have this summer was well worth it.

I hate swimsuit shopping, but I love Nani Nalu. You make an appointment ahead of time, and provide them with a little info about yourself such as age, size, preferred swimsuit styles and special requests. When you arrive, you are led to the back of the store which contains warm, flatteringly lit dressing stalls with heavy curtains and multiple high quality swimsuits already waiting for you to try on. The fitting ladies ask you to step out into the larger fitting area after each suit, and there they’re like your sweetest friends— asking you what you like/don’t like about the suit, complimenting the features that the suit flatters, making sure that everything fits appropriately, etc. They encourage you to be open about your opinions and do what they can to help you leave with a suit that makes you happy.
