Ombibulous — Local services in Minneapolis

Best little place in the state to grab an endless variety of wine, spirits, bitters, mixers, soda, CBD/THC seltzer, and most importantly; craft beer!

I think my favorite thing about Ombibulous is the fact that they help support breweries of all sizes across Minnesota by almost exclusively selling local beverages/products.

Customers also have the option to buy cases, packs, individual cans of just about everything. There is even an option to create your own custom 4/6 pack to try a little bit of everything.

While they may not carry big name brands like Stella or Miller they still offer a handful of Minnesota/Wisconsin based lagers (Hamms, Northeast, etc) if you are looking to stick to the classics.

Finally, if you are in the mood for something new any member of their extremely knowledgeable staff is sure to find a beer you'll love. I usually swing by in the evenings where Alex has always been friendly, helpful, and attentive even when the store is about to close.

Whether you're visiting the area or live in the Twin Cities Ombibulous should definitely be at the top of your list of places...

My recent experience (7/5/24) with my neighborhood liquor store left me embarrassed to have recommended it so highly to friends.

Our visit began with the typical pleasant greeting and small talk. Once the first in our group was ready to check out, the shop attendant's attitude towards the remaining two of us turned sour for reasons unknown. Comments such as "it's not my fault you can't make up your minds" and other remarks citing personal issues made for an increasingly uncomfortable shopping experience. My apologies for any inadvertent offense were rudely brushed off.

We made our exit 5 minutes before close, and hundreds of dollars in potential business was left on the table. I am not sure I will be...

They’ve even made a few recommendations that turned into my all-time favorites.

Their selection is outstanding—craft beers, fine wines, rare bourbons, locally made spirits, mixers, and even a few unexpected finds you won’t see in big chain stores.
