Michelle is amazing— always go to her if you can. She is very nice and a good hairstylist. I wasn’t the best client because I had to reschedule a lot. But Michelle was always understanding and sweet. I went to her for about a year.

I used to love this place, I would go quite often to get haircuts. But the guy behind the counter was unnecessarily difficult to deal with when I requested a refund for a haircut I prepaid for. My car broke down unexpectedly and I needed to scrape together every cent I could. Knowing it takes awhile to process a refund, I called early in the morning and a man picked up. I explained the situation to him, and he said he would “get to the refund when he had time” I mentioned I had an appointment to get the car fixed and needed it refunded as soon as possible. He said ok. But he didn’t process the refund until 3pm the next day. The money took a few days after to go back into my account. It made me miss my appointment. Very unprofessional of him to start the refund whenever he felt like it and he caused me to miss an extra day of work because I had to reschedule the car appointment.

They probably aren’t losing anything by losing me as a client (again I rescheduled a lot) but after that sour interaction with that guy I don’t think I can go back.

I received the most horrific haircut in my entire life here from Ashley. The last time I got a cut I hated this much, it was a 2 inch trim-turned bob in 7th grade and it was from Great Clips.

I showed her multiple pictures and twice had to remind her that what I wanted was the opposite of what she repeated. She kept cutting, leaving me with short, uneven bangs in the front. I told her multiple times I wanted more side sweeping pieces instead of a few wispy razor cut strands around my face. She didn't listen. She cut the back straight across with a blunt cut that is both uneven and terrible looking. The back was cut in a V prior and she didn't ask which way I wanted it, just did something totally different. The color is nothing like what I showed her, but at least it's not ugly. It's manageable. Not a single one of my friends, coworkers, or family think it's a good cut and they were all shocked when I showed them the inspo pictures. I booked an appointment at The Chair after several disappointing visits to another well known salon. My first impression was the front desk lady that took my call. I explained what I was looking for and briefly that I’d just gotten my hair done at another salon. She said they’d love to work worth me but also encouraged me to offer feedback to my previous stylist. Right away this told me that this salon isn’t just about money they actually care about their clients. I took her advice and still decided to book an appointment with Danielle.
