I would be cautious about buying fluids for your vehicle here. I purchased a 5 quart bottle of 0W-20 from AutoZone, went home and drained my oil, and then went to pour in the oil that I purchased only to find that it had already been opened and had not only the paper cap seal floating in it, but also small bits of foil from the seal. While the oil looked the correct color for new oil, who knows what other contamination had occurred and with the foil and paper floating in it, there was no way I was going to pour it into my engine. I was able to get a ride from a neighbor to this location to exchange this for a new bottle and when I got there, the employee (maybe a manager) named something like Ray or Roy told the other employee to grab a new bottle for me and put this one back on the shelf as it was "perfectly fine" even after I told him that the foil was floating in it. His response was that a funnel would catch anything in the oil even though the foil was smaller than the small end of any funnel you would use for oil changes - at best, it would catch the paper but nothing else.
Edit to add: This location also does not know how to test vehicles with Aux batteries. They are adamant that they can be tested without disconnecting them from each other which will give false results. Other locations in the area know they have to be...
Read moreA total disgrace how badly run this place is. The young girl at the checkout counter this afternoon with the gray shirt was unfriendly, made hardly any eye contact and was not knowledgeable of parts I was looking for for my particular car. Her associate, an older man who wore a red shirt gave me some unsolicited input saying “I assume but your parts are the same size“ but he was dead wrong and when I tried to correct him I got an attitude from both of them. If they had any common sense they would understand that I was understandably annoyed because getting the wrong information from them would’ve cost me time, money and a major inconvenience. It’s a transmission were talking about not a windshield wiper. I had to go to another store 15 minutes away and the very nice friendly professional knowledgeable man there found the right part for me within 30 seconds and what a surprise…it was at the first store I went to. I went back to get the part and there was a lot of confusion silence an egg on faces. The one redeeming point of the story is there was only one young gentleman that offered an apology. He had nothing to do with the situation and went out of his way to apologize because he understood. Get some...
Read moreWhile attempting to repair the windshield washer system on my truck, I accidentally misplaced one of the small couplers needed to properly reassemble the system. It was late, and I rushed to autozone hoping that I could find SOMETHING that would work. The young man I encountered at the front went to work quickly to find a solution, but it seemed like nothing was going to work. He decided to ask the other gentleman that was with him if he had a solution and he recommended cutting to size a small piece of hose to use as a coupler. They pulled out some hose and found one close in diameter to what I needed and cut me a small piece (about 2 inches). I wasn’t sure it would work, but felt optimistic. I thanked the gentlemen and rushed back home and IT WORKED! The little piece of hose they cut for me fit PERFECTLY and allowed me to properly complete the job. To the fine men that helped me, I’m sorry I didn’t get your named, but I thank you a million times over for your quick thinking and dedication. Best experience I’ve ever had at an auto parts store. I owe you both a steak dinner! World...
