This place has a TON of potential. Its got an interesting take on Mexican and Italian fusion cuisine. Lets start with the very small amount of downsides: 1- The salsa tastes like it was poured out of a Pace jug. Its not good, and honestly had me worried for my entree 2- Get fountain drinks. Nothing grinds my gears like ordering a soda for $2-3 just to be given a can I could have just brought with me for a 1/3 of the cost. 3- Service was just okay at lunch. It wasn't busy and it still took about 10min to get our bottles of water to drink. Then another 10min for the waitress to get off her phone and come take our order.
The extremely good upsides: The food was extremely tasty! Unlike the salsa appetizer, everything tasted fresh and the portions were hardy. I failed to take a picture of our orders because I was enjoying it so much. Who would've thought that a spaghetti pesto with carne asada would pair well together? The additional sauces that came with the orders, a type of avocado verde, and a mustardy red sauce should be the opening salsa. Both were really good and the verde stole the show. The steak stir fry was equally fresh tasting and delicious.
I look forward to seeing this place improve on its weaknesses and stand on its strengths. You should eat here. I know I'll...
Read moreI went with my family with little expectations, to try this new place for me, very close to my house. Upon arrival it was empty and my expectations were lowered a little but probably was the time of the day, we entered the restaurant and I had a good impression, clean, pleasant and well-lit place with natural light. Dishes we ordered: Ceviche mixto rojo: the truth is very delicious , it had very rich seasoning (I would have liked it in a bowl, because I like it all mixed, simple detail) but the dish was delicious and I have eaten in many places the Peruvian ceviche including in Chile , where the ingredients are very close to their home country. Chaufa: delicious, very tasty indeed (it was my wife's dish, I took it out of her meal). Milanesa with pasta : it was slightly above average, tasty, recommendable a tiny bit salty but nothing significant (my daughter's dish, I cut the milanesa and took out several pieces). Fish : my mother-in-law's dish she is too hard to please even I would say a little complicated with the food, but she was very pleased with the food and happy with her dish she liked it !!! Good option to go to eat and get out of the routine....
Read moreI’ve been to many Peruvian restaurants — from top-tier fine dining to more casual spots — and this one truly has no comparison. The flavors are authentically Peruvian, the presentation is beautiful, and the prices are simply unbeatable. It may look like a simple place from the outside, but the moment the food arrives you realize you’ve found something extraordinary.
