I had my daughters with me while moving to finish remote paperwork. I wish I received kindness and patience for my children because no they were not kind. I had one woman who glared at me as I left because I heard her say there are days she was not in the mood to something similar. I don’t care if you were upset my 4 year old didn’t deserve to have a book almost yanked out of her hands. I had to politely tell her thank you so she can get the picture don’t dare treat my daughter that way. You are an adult and you know better. If you have no patience for children, don’t be there. I have fought not writing here but it gets so upset I was treated unfairly. I saw how another family came in and they had the respect I was failed to be provided. I hope you read this and feel horrible for treating a small child that way....
Read moreI just love this city library. It’s quaint and has many programs for young children all the way to adults. There are Book Clubs, Children’s Story Time, Kids, Crafts and Read to the Dogs, and even have a Beginning Knitting Class. There is WiFi available inside the library as well as around the grounds. There’s a beautiful garden next to the building for reflection as well as a quiet place to read. They have a dedicated section for children’s books and DVDs. There is a wide variety of current DVDs including Academy Award Winning titles. They also have computers to use as well. They are part of the Lake County Library System so you can create an online account and then place a hold on any book in the system.
