UTD Technology did an excellent job. The bottom line - UTD Technology was swift, professional, and had affordable rates. I would recommend them to my friends and family, and anyone else who was looking. I have already started a second project with them.

Long Version: I asked Johan from UTD Technology to help me set up my home network. He showed up on time for our scheduled meeting. After a quick walk through of my house and a check into my current networking equipment he headed out. The very next day I had a quote with reasonable rates and equipment that fit perfectly for my needs.

Due to personal reasons I had to delay the start of the project by a month, but when I called him, we picked up right where we left off. Johan had scheduled for installation to start in less than a week!

When Johan and his team arrived we did one final walk through and they were off to the races. As mentioned before, the work was done swiftly and professionally. Him and the team were also easy to talk to and very knowledgeable.

During the project Johan and I had a few discussions about another project I wanted to accomplish; a home theater. Before they left my home that day, they had already installed the necessary connections for my projector and media equipment! Now that is service!

Home Theater Project:

My modest bedroom sized theater is probably smaller than they normally handle. Even so, they still shared their immense experience with me and helped prevent me from making some costly mistakes. Now I am armed with a plan, but I unfortunately don't have the budget to complete the entire room all in one go. instead I will complete the theater room in 3 stages. Projector and screen, then media equipment and surround sound, then wall coverings and seating.

Johan and the team at UTD Technology have already purchased the necessary equipment for the first phase and I am beyond excited to see this home theater project to completion.

Purchased A/V equipment prior to meeting UTD from another dealer. Very few firms were willing to install without an existing relationship or purchase. UTD gladly accepted our install request.

Service was excellent from the first conversation. Great communication, punctual, and knowledgeable. Every home theatre setup is different and Johan and Luis worked efficiently together to unpackage and build our system.

Setup included SI 133" Zero Edge Slate screen, JVC RS 2000 projector, Anthem receiver, and various other components. They built the screen, removed old and installed new A/V equipment, relocated the projector, programmed a single remote to control all components (ROKU, Apple TV 4k, DVD, PS3, receiver, projector) and calibrated the room using Anthem's ARC software. The result is a dream family theatre room.

I plan to utilize UTD in the future to replace our existing 7.1 speakers and add an ATMOS configuration.

Johan and Luis did great work in my home. They took the time to determine the best approach to run CAT6 to deliver a network jack in my 2nd floor office. We discussed everything BEFORE they did it, and they were patient and professional. Also had them mount a 55" flat panel TV on my living room wall - which they did with ease. If I had any criticism it is that it took a long time to get an appointment, but then again, it is almost impossible to find residential network services, so it was no big deal, plus the global COVID-19 pandemic put things on hold for a few months.
