Food Lion — Local services in Indian Trail

Awful customer service especially considering their are 3 other Food Lions within 10 mile radius. Coming from out of town for the weekend thought we could place our grocery order online around 3 pm since we were tight on time. Had a space to pick up between 7 and 8 which was perfect. Apparently the "shopper" for the store gets off at 6, instead of either not allowing those spaces to be available or God forbid the lazy managers fill the last few online orders for the night they just send out an email saying the groceries would be moved to the following morning at 11 am. Well if I had time to get them the next morning at 11 I wouldn't have placed my order 20 hrs before hand. Called the store and the lazy managers on staff were not very helpful and had no clue how to cancel the order. Terrible service all around. Thankfully I have other options...

I shop no place else every week and I am there probably twice more depending on visitors and I need more food.. food is fresh..the meats are always great..the people there are friendly and helpful..and I can't afford to have those special cuts but weekly specials are helpful...if can't find it they will help me and they are always kind and cheerful. So with the specials.. they are on products that I want to buy and now I can with the special pricing..The store has a calming atmosphere...not a lot of confusion and noise..Gives me a break to get away from the house and everyone there. So if you have not tried Food Lion...then you are...

I have been to my fair share of Food Lions in my life but I have NEVER had outstanding customer service like I had tonight!!!! I didn't get a chance to check out her name tag but my receipt says cashier 0142; not only did she help me save money but she pointed out a great sale that included a free item!!! On top of that she also put me on the Food Lion app that will save me even more money!!! She went above & beyond to explain how the app works along with tips on being on the lookout for sales!! If the dictionary needed a picture to describe customer service, her picture would be right beside it!! Someone give that amazing...
