The Bridge Creamery and Soda Shop — Restaurant in Hemby Bridge

Update: Since my last post I've returned 2 times. We live a mile away & my kids enjoy their ice cream so that's the reason why. I tried the banana split again & must say it was better this time. The toppings were very well proportioned & it was very enjoyable.

I've tried 4 different things from here & was disappointed every time. Chocolate Shake: tasted like inexpensive ice cream blended with milk. Wouldn't get it again. Cookie Sundae: Cookie & topping were great however I got more of them than ice cream & would except it to be the other way around. Banana Split: Fresh banana, lots of ice cream but the problem was it came with 3 types of syrup fruit topping & wet walnuts & they added way to much of each & made it so sweet it was almost inedible. Carmel Cheesecake Brownie Milkshake: Might as well have been a vanilla shake. Didn't taste like they added cheesecake or carmel & there were brownie crumbs in the bottom. This was by far the...

I have passed this place for years and on Friday 2/8/19, my grandson wanted ice cream and my daughter put ice cream in her phone and The Bridge Creamery came up!! All I can say is wow and don't judge a book by it's cover! This place is really good! Before ordering I had to use the restroom, so I went into the restaurant that they have! When I tell you the staff there has git to be the best I have seen in a while! We were greeted with smiles and they were genuine! Even the waitresses that were waiting on tables looked up smiled and said hello. Back to the ice cream...I ordered Butter Pecan in a waffle cone dipped in chocolate, all I can say is yum! Not a great first experience here!! Took quite some time to get my server to come back so we could get Togo boxes, order ice cream and get the check. It had gotten a little busy so I was understanding but then after about 15 minutes of waiting for the ice cream I tell my boys that I don’t want to take up table space and we stand up front…another 7-10 minutes go by before I ask the ladies up front what’s going on? The ladies walk over and the lady that works the ice cream part lets them know she never got the receipt so here we are 35 minutes waiting for ice cream!!!! Ridiculous
