1/22 Dine in. My family of 4 was sat at 6:15 pm and waited 45 min. before our children’s buttered oodles and spaghetti was brought to the table. At that time, We were told our pizza had not been made. We waited an additional 30 minutes with no staff or managment coming to our table and no drink refills before going to the hostess and asking to pay for the food we had already eaten. After being at our table 1 hour and 30 minutes my wife and I left hungry as our pizza had not been made nor had a manager ever spoken to us. The young waitress was left to fend for herself. No discounts were offered nor any verbal apologize for the failed customer service. I left a 20% tip on the food we ate and left my contact information as well as a request for managment to contact me. This never happened. I live customer service everyday and fully understand issues will happen, however, failing to attempt to recover a customer and leaving a young server to fend for themselves shows a lack of respect for the customer and your hard working staff. It was obvious that our server as well as the entire serving staff had not been trained on customer service recovery. 4 tables left the restaurant within 5 minutes prior to my family leaving after being told they would be waiting much longer if they wanted food. These guests left without paying anything because no food had touched the tables. This means the staff were given no opportunity to earn tips for their hard work. Feel free to contact me if you...
Read moreI had a long day of work, my husband had a long day of fence repair, we decided to foergo cooking and order out. We hadn't eaten at Mia Famiglia in a very long time, so opted to give them some business via curbside pickup. Last time, pre-pandemic, we enjoyed a meal in house - was good pizza, mediocre pasta. This time, we tried pasta again and can say it was abyssmal. My eggplant rollatini was circular slab of greasy cheese with a small bit of watery noodles and what might've been eggplant but couldn't find/taste it through all the ricotta. The fried calamari was cold, soft, and the only seasoning discernable was akin to "burnt oil" flavor. My husband's shrimp scampi was okay and the meat sauce served with the calamari was good. To top off the experience, the entrees had been wrapped in their individual paper bags, but put into the plastic bag sideways, causing oil and garlic sauce to puddle inside the bag/allover everything, and when my husband arrived home with the food, we discovered that our side salads were nowhere to be found. I'm hoping this was just an "off" night, but suppose I'll just stick to the...
Read moreWe decided to try this place this evening for the first time. I've eaten pizza all over the country. We ordered 2 pizza's and a chicken wrap with onion rings. It was 5:25 when I placed the order and they told me 45 minutes to an hour. Are you kidding me? I decided to head that way anyway because I was unsure of traffic. I arrived at 5:44, and of course they immediately took my money for the order. They told me "a few more minutes". I waited and at 6:18 I got the food. Apparently we were waiting on the pizza. It was busy but not crazy. They spent money to remodel but didn't seem to work on the efficiency of the kitchen or extra ovens. When I got home we tried the pizza, it wasn't awful but definitely not the best. The bottom crust was burnt on both pies. The sauce was average at best and seemed like it came out of a can. The chicken wrap was good, but apparently they forgot the balsamic vinaigrette. The onion rings were cold, which makes sense since this was sitting on the counter waiting on the pizzas. Nothing to write home about but definitely not in the top 5 pizza places in the area. I doubt I...
