Oriental Market — Local services in Mishawaka

I grew up in Northwest Indiana and the only oriental store that was local had closed down years ago. We had to drive constantly to Chicago to find things that we enjoyed in our Korean family, but I noticed this store while out in the South Bend area and I was so excited! They have lots of Korean options, and they sell many things in bulk size too if you’re cooking for plenty. They also sell things that are harder to come across such as calamari, kimchi, squid, and much more. We got a lot of seaweed for a great deal and a decent sized bag of rice for only $7.00! Holy fish cakes and noodles, this place is amazing. Tucked just to the side of Barnaby's on Grape Road, Oriental Market features a rotating variety of East Asian grocery staples, from beverages to rice; unusual snacks and treats; all variety of frozen pot stickers; packaged produce and fish; kimchi galore; all of these and more, all at really great prices. I've only heard of this place recently, but I'm SO happy I did. Lots of different Korean and Japanese food staples. Quite small but it more than makes up for it in variety. I'm not super into a lot of Asian cuisine (many of them have cabbage, onions, and peppers which is a big no for me unfortunately) but they had a lot of snack and dessert options that I loved.
