Details of my repairs: My 2009 ScionTc has been cross country twice and has accumulated a litany of issues over the years. Most recently, a very unstable idle with a check engine light. Had it towed to Larry's because he was referred by a trusted family member for reliable and affordable car repairs. Spoke to Larry himself and I explained my chief complaint. He listened and had Paul, the mechanic, create a thorough list of possible repairs addressing the chief complaint first. List of repairs came with detailed pictures to show the issues. Paul himself walked me back into the garage and pointed out each issue on my car. There was no pressure to complete any of the repairs, only what I was comfortable with. New to Larry's but had my 2008 Lexus ISF 60K service done there after the dealer totally inflated the original estimate. I saved a lot of money and even had the tires aligned at $200 less than the dealer estimate for the 60K service alone. I also had my wife's 2007 Infinity G35 for an oil change and safety check. The only issue I had was that 10/30 weight oil was used instead of the manual recommended 5/30 on both cars. When I noticed this and called, I was asked to return immediately to have the oil changed out. There was no attempt to circumvent the issue or convince me that the 10/30 was just as good. Even though an oversight, the follow-up correction was impressive and showed a real commitment to pleasing the customer and creating good will. Excellent mechanic shop. Recently, I brought our 2004 Honda Civic for timing belt and water pump replacement. During the procedure, Larry notified me that there was also a problem with some of the seals that were causing oil to seep onto the timing belt. He took pictures and sent them to me. This was a great comfort in knowing that the additional work was justified and helped me in approving it.The shop also took great care in minimizing our cost for things that didn't need to be done or replaced. I have a fair degree of mechanical experience with cars and having done my homework on pricing, I knew that Larry was very reasonable and fair in his assessment of what needed to be done and the associated cost.
