Soma — Local services in Mission Viejo

I went in with an exchange but they didn’t have what I needed so I asked for a refund. I had my email receipt, order number and merchandise but the store employee was unable to find the order on their system so they offered me a store credit. I told her I wanted it back on my card so I asked to speak to the manager. The manager basically told me too bad…she couldn’t do anything because it wasn’t in their system. Then she walked away leaving the employee to deal with it. I couldn’t believe how unprofessional she was and how ridiculous it was that the receipt wasn’t adequate to get a refund. The store employee was very nice and she called an external customer service number and they found the order. It definitely made me think twice about buying from Soma when the receipt isn’t adequate for a refund and the manager is useless. The store employee, Abeer, apologized profusely and was very kind and professional but the manager on duty was rude and very unhelpful. I was in the store for 30 minutes for something that should...

The Mission Viejo Soma store and staff are ridiculous. The store opens and closes when it pleases, the hours posted on Google are inaccurate, and the staff is rude. I had two bras to return, that were bought during the pandemic. I came to the store 3 times over the last six months to exchange the bras and each time the store was not open (yet the rest of the mall was open). I finally came back today and they were open (for another 5 mins!) and refused to do my exchange saying it has been too long. The products are standard items in the store and an exchange could have been so simple. Customer service at #Soma is horrible and I recommend others avoid shopping here. The best shopping experience I've received in a long time. Not only was I greeted as soon as I walked in by the ladies working, within seconds Naj is taking my measurements since I told her I had ordered the wrong bra size online. While trying on a different size in the dressing room I was lucky enough to have Adriana an employee that was not even scheduled to work give me really good advice she just happened to be there and very knowledgeable. Between Adriana and Naj, I was given full service customer service with a great product and a great deal! Thank you so much for the experience ladies...
