7/27/2025 Stopped in to Cheesecake Factory at the MV mall after some serious window shopping. We decided to sit at the bar even though I am on a health kick and haven't had my favorite tequilla in two months. Christina was our amazing server aka bartender and took our order for ice tea and chicken pot stickers only 380 calories. The bread looked pretty tasty and my wife indulged in the yeast risen feast. We placed our entree orders with my wife ordering the regular menu turkey burger with a salad and I had the skinnylicious chicken pasta. Tania brought our food out and it looked mighty tasty. My wife's burger was a bit overcooked and Christina promptly took it back and had a new one brought out while my wife ate her salad. The manager also came by and apologized for the overcooked gobble burger which was also quite nice. The new turkey burger arrived lickety split and was cooked to perfection. The ambiance is always positive and upbeat here at the Cheesecake Factory. I also had a nice hot cup of Java while we just peeked at the Cheesecake varieties which we disciplined ourselves to walk away from. Overall a pleasant dining experience. Good people, good food and good vibes.

Today we went to lunch at the Cheesecake Factory in Mission Viejo. We stepped into the bar area and sat at a high top table. Hannah M was our amazing server and was friendly, professional and efficient. We started with drinks and then ordered our entrees. My wife had the burger and salad and I had the chicken avocado sandwich. The food was great and the gentleman who delivered to food was such a nice person and had terrific customer service skills. It was a very pleasant dining experience and we also took another order of chicken avocado sandwich with sweet potato fries home. Highly recommended.

Had a nice late lunch after my wife's doctor's appointment. The hostess was sweet and let us to a nice table near a window. Our first server, Logan, came by and took our drink order of two Don Julio Blanco with pelligrino and three limes muddled with mint. We also ordered what they call a little house salad, which is very generous and, of course, tasty. Logan had to go home, so Saul, our new server, came by, and he was amazing. We also got bread from Logan before he checked out. My wife ordered the Boom Boom Shrimp and Chicken, and I had the Madeira Chicken plate. Both entrees were good, and we had a nice time chatting. Today was my wife's birthday 🎂 so we shared cheesecake and ice cream, and I sang to her for her birthday. The ambiance was peaceful and positive. Highly recommended.
Previous visit We stopped in for lunch today. We sat in the bar and it was fairly busy. Oscar C. started helping us and I could see he had many tables and the bar to manage so service started out a bit slow even though he was personable and doing his best. Dallas another server saved the day with amazing service and a smile. Dallas followed up on our appetizer which took approximately 35 minutes and also took our orders. She was a Godsend as my wife was not happy with the service prior to Dallas. Needless to say she brought out our appetizer and eventually our orders while always checking on our drinks and that wonderful bread. Oscar C. finished up with boxes and a slice of cheesecake to take home. I was going to rate a 3 but Dallas pumped it up to a 4 star...
Read moreI have to push 1 star to be able to write this review but if it was up to me I would give it negative 5 stars . I took my husband to dinner last night for his birthday and had one of the worst restaurant experiences ever. My reservation was 6:45pm we ordered drinks and appetizers right away but did not receive the appetizers until 7:25 pm despite the waitress telling us multiple times she was checking on them and me finally asking about them. We ordered our food when she finally brought our appetizers. The fried zucchini was cold, oily, soggy and limp, yuck!!! We finished our appetizers and waited for our food but it never came despite the waitress telling us she was checking on it again. We talked to one manager and she apologized and then when on to state they just opened up after being closed due to Coronavirus so we tried to be understanding, however when I noticed multiple people who came in after us as they were getting their dinners I had about enough. I requested to speak to another manager and explained the situation and how upset I was with the service, she too apologized, I told her I was not paying for the drinks or appetizers and walked away at 8:15 pm. As I was walking out the gate she came out and offered to pack up the food for take out with no cost to us. I thought this would at least makeup for our time and frustration, however not the case again! The free food was horrible, yuck, yuck!!!! The food was flavorless, vegetables we under cooked and hard, the mashed potatoes had pieces of big black rotten potatoes in them. Needless to say the free food went in the garbage and all we could say is good thing we didn’t have to pay for it! Still disappointed because it ruined the birthday night for all of us. Will not...
Read moreWe have been this place a few times before in the past and expected it to be busy on this day as well. We waited to be seated but after being called for seating after our wait, the hostess "accidentally" seated another patron who arrived much later than us. As a remediation, she did not give us another wait time, but had us standing at the desk for 15+ minutes while she waited for seats to become available for us. If that wasn't bad, she seated us inside despite us requesting outside seating. We were so tired that evening that we did not dispute it.
The wait then started as we noticed that, while they did not seem to be completely full, but the waitress acknowledged us and then disappeared for a while. Then she brought out their bread that was uncharacteristically hard and stale; I love their brown bread but this was not good at all. When the waitress finally showed up again after a while, she did bring better bread when I asked her.
We eventually ordered factory nachos and avocado egg rolls which came out more than 15 mins later and was luke warm. I always like their avocado egg rolls but these were not quite up to par. We also ordered the FOUR CHEESE PASTA and JAMAICAN BLACK PEPPER SHRIMP. The pasta was okay but the Jamaican Black Pepper Shrimp that had marinated pineapple was not; it was way too sweet and tasted more like a dessert. For dessert we shared a SALTED CARAMEL CHEESECAKE and a VANILLA BEAN CHEESECAKE. These were as expected and good.
I generally like Cheesecake factory and have visited many locations including at the Irvine Spectrum, Newport Beach Mall and elsewhere; I have been to this location numerous times as well, but this one visit was just mediocre overall. I am going to say that this visit was perhaps...
