I will admit that the campus is beautifully furnished and the student amenities are new and updated. However, the staff is absolutely horrible. I have been to this location a total of four times to take my brother to his classes and all times I have been consistently harassed by the staff for being on campus and not a student (even though I signed in as a visitor). My final straw regarding this facility was my brother and my's attempt at reserving a huddle room. Again, we both were consistently harassed by faculty (the dean, two people from the check in desk, and the roaming security guard). They refused to let me reserve a room under the guise that I was not a student and also told us to leave because our hour was up. According to the rules posted outside the huddle room, we had two hours for the room (only if someone else wanted the room) AND HCC students would be prioritized over visitors (therefore I am allowed to reserve a room with my valid driver's license). As a former HCC student and currently enrolled in a Master's program as well as a member of the community, I am appalled at their discriminatory actions to actively push me away from the campus.
