Ā Ā Ā Read moreThey deserve no stars This place is a rip off. Went there today to look at wigs for my mom who is going through chemo and had a pleasant initial experience. She(my mom) fell in love with a particular wig $29.99 marked and the sales girl named Jasmine told us that the wig happened to be on sale 50% off. Great i thought I'll purchase it for my mom. Get to the register and the man behind the counter rang up the sale for $21.65. I look at the pricing and i see a white price label marked $39.99.(You would have thought he would inform me of any mistake then right?) I thought to myself is that the right wig she got anyway paid and left. As we drove home i pulled over remembering that i took a picture of my mom trying on the wig with the label on it and sure enough when i looked the price was $29.99. When i pulled the wig out the bag, the label was removed and had the $39.99 sticker replaced on top. I drove back sure enough to confront the man at the counter for increasing the price. He first told me there was a mistake in the pricing and that there was never a $29.99 sticker. when i showed him he said the sticker was already there. I clearly told him no the sticker said $29.99 and the girl Jasmine even told us the pricing. He finally gave in after I showed him the picture on my phone from when my mom was trying it on. In the course of so called refunding me he charged me for the $5.41 difference. He then refunded $10.82. Upon getting home i check my bank account and see both charges for the initial and secondary transaction but not the refund. When i check the receipt why does both the charges say approved: online with a code on the slip but the refund slip says approved: offline with no code.I just got off the phone with some lady who told me theres no Jasmine working there and second the man behind the counter was gone for the day. REALLY!!!!!!! She said wait a day or so for the refund to show as an approval code shows the transaction. I informed her that the slip said offline and no code was present. She said she doesn't know about the slip lingo but as long as I have a receipt I should be good. OK Ill give it a day or so But buyer beware of any purchases from this store. If they did it to me and had I not checked who else got overcharged time and time again.WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN.YOU don't deceive...
NEVER AGAIN. I shop at Sallys faithfully. While at Sallys a young lady suggested that I go to shine beauty for an item Sallys did not have. I went. 1st no welcome from the staff 2nd another customer was telling the female worker that the item was incorrect from what she had initially selected and instead of being helpful the female working was complaining and sighing and speaking in Korean negative about the customer to the man who worked there. 3rd another customer was checking out and had a small basket with the items she selected for purchase and asked the price for an item behind the counter. The man who worked there told her the price and she decided it was to much and she would go to another store and she left the basket there. She was not rude. She just changed her mind. The man proceed to curse and speak so negative about the customer to another employee. Their main base customers are African Americans and they are treated terribly. My only regret is that I did not speak up and I purchased my items any way. Social media (Facebook, Instagram etc) are powerful tools besides protesting outside. Speak up on social media and give the location. Please stop spending your money here. They don't respect you even if you are a courteous customer. They need the African American dollar to be successful. Send a message by taking your money elsewhere. There are thousands of locations in the sugar land and houston area that will appreciate your patronising their establishment. ...

I purchased 4 bundles of their "virgin hair" the total came up to $400+ dollars. After supporting this store for the last several years I thought they were trustworthy enough to invest in. Upon installation after attempting to style the bundles. my hair dresser let me know that the hair I purchased was not virgin and would not even hold a curl. 3 days later I returned to shine beauty supply and politely informed the owner that the hair quality was poor and although I didnt think I'd get a refund , I certainly wanted him to stop selling this product under false pretense... he argued with me, and told me to brush it. 3 weeks later after wearing the most unruly hair I've ever worn I went back to shine to figure out a solution. The owner proceeded to run in circles with his explanation and told me the matting and tangling came from oil š. Oil!!! He laughed when I asked for a solution and grabbed a cigarette to smoke. Thanks to technology I had the opportunity to record my experience and I'll be posting it to social media.
I have been wearing extensions for the last 10 years . I know the difference between virgin, remi, and human hair. These people are attempting to get over on unsuspecting consumers, and they have no regard for our experience, no professionalism, and no customer service skills
Why are we still giving...
