I can't say enough great things about the DXL in Modesto, thanks to Mario! I first visited the store in January while visiting family in StocktonāI was looking for a suit for a job interview. Mario assisted me back then, providing excellent service, and when I returned today looking for business casual attire, he was there to help me again!
Not only did he remember me from my first visit, he also asked how the suit worked out and how the interview went. He even recalled my shirt size and took the time to double-check my pants size in the system. That level of customer care and attention to detail is rare and truly made shopping here worthwhile (especially since I'm from out of state)!
On top of his exceptional service, he even went above and beyond to help us with DXL's new military discount (in partnership with GovX). Our discount code wasn't working, and Mario took initiative and called customer service, other stores, and even contacted GovX directly to ensure we could receive the discount. His eagerness to help me on both visits was extremely helpful and super appreciated! I'm definitely coming back the next time I'm in town!

Well, I was told it was going to be in the store before Father's Day ( I paid extra shipping fee, two days) Come the day for pick up, I receive no call. So I called and went to the store, they mentioned well we do not do shipping on the weekend. Okay that blew my husbands gift!!! So come Monday, again no call. I called the store and told store manager what happened, well she looked into it.. NOW, I get well we emailed you last week that the shirt was out of stocked!!! So I said fine, I just want my money back. They said you have to call another number, but your card was not charged yet.. I said that's funny because looking at my bank account(in which I called my bank) IT WAS CHARGED. So in calling this other number, they told me yet again: They did not charge my card, again I had to explain what happened. So now they say I have to wait 5- 7 days to get my money. So no shirt, no money, no sorry. I am waiting for my refund.

He gave me a very warm welcome after the fact from being somewhat greeted by Cody his manager even though Cody made me felt un welcomed based off his demeanor. I wanted a selected size but Cody refused to give it to me based off the way I looked and my husband that day our size he said was not compatible here at our store..ā I then asked jonathan to get me down a size and he did so based off me asking him. After I let him know it was for my son he than said thatās fine Iām sorry about my boss. I think he didnāt know what you meant but I let him know his boss was completely un professional based off his response to me. He was helping others until he knew we were upset.
