Men's Wearhouse — Local services in Modesto

My husband loves buying nice button up shirts, but every single time we come to this store there is this one employee who is always rude to him. We went in last week, and this employee dismissed him and said there was no fitting rooms that he can change on the front floor. We then went in this Thursday to search for some slacks and the same employee tried to upsell us some $130 slacks when we asked for some basics. Fortunately an employee by the name of Anthony stood up for us and offered to help us find great slacks for $50. Anthony was awesome and spent the entire time making sure my husband looked his best. While my husband was in the dressing room, the rude employee came and just stared at us as if we were trying to steal or try something. After we paid, we had to come back after 15 minutes because they adjusted the slacks. However when my husband went in to pick up his slacks and a button up shirt, the rude employee happened to be there and would not give him his items that he already paid for. Fortunately Anthony came and greeted my husband by his first name and gave him his clothes. I am not sure what the employees name is but he’s always in colorful suits. He is rude and makes our experiences awful and uncomfortable. We always buy items at this store but yet this man treats us as if we are shoplifting. It was not just the wide selection of suits, ties, shirts, and the variety of colors the store offered that made my experience exciting and worthwhile, but the amazing customer service. More specifically, the customer service from Michelle.

Upon walking in the store with one of my best friends, we had waited anywhere between 30-45min due to the large demand of suits/tuxs during prom season. Yet, once sitting down with Michelle and getting exactly what my friend and I wanted for our last high school prom we knew it was worth the wait.

Michelle made the process fast and easy. Charismatic, patient, funny, understanding, and honest are just a few words that I could use to describe Michelle. Michelle is a large factor in why I will continue to go to Mens Wearhouse in Modesto and the company as a whole. She is the reason I will have my suits ordered from Modesto Mens Wearhouse for college and any other special event I have coming.

This place used to be great for suit rentals, but the service and experience has gone down. I went to have the experience of trying on suits with my fiance for our wedding and they said that they had nothing for me to try on or even take my measurements. She basically shooed us away. When I went a month later to go get my suit for someone else’s wedding, they took my measurements and gave me something to try on. However, if you have a wedding and it’s out of town they still want you to return it the next day, whether it’s your wedding or not. The prices of the suits are also very expensive, I paid 220 just for a blazer, shirt, and pants. Went to a mom and pop shop in Turlock for my wedding tux, and they gave me a vest, blazer, shirt, and pants for only 180 and I can return the suit...
