I contacted the warehouse to replace a 30 year old bed frame. Maria answered the phone and I explained to her what I needed. She did not hesitate to help me. I texted her pictures of the frame per her request and within a few days later, Maria was texting me with good news. She said I think we have it, but bring it with you so we can compare the two. When I arrived at the warehouse, they located Maria for me. Her and another associate came out and examined the frame they went to get the new one. This is where the customer service went beyond my expectations. They took me inside the warehouse and cut the box open and pulled out the frame to make sure it would work. I told them it was a queen, but once they took it out, we realized it was a full which required them to open another box. I felt so bad. They didn't mind at all. They went to get the full size for me. Meanwhile, I was explaining to Maria about how my dad purchased this bedroom set over 30 years ago because my husband and I were coming home to visit from the military and he wanted us to have a nice stay, so he bought a brand new bedroom set from Wayside. It has truly held up. My dad passed away in January and my mom unfortunately fell ill right after. The frame bent because she couldn't get out of the bed and it took my sister and I to get her out, thus the reason for the new frame. I have no doubt that Maria could feel what I have been going through over the past few months. When it was time to pay, she said it would be on them and that I could have it. It took everything in me not to break down and cry. I am so grateful for her. This act of kindness is what good customer service is built upon. Maria saw me through from the beginning until the end. Read moreI purchased a sectional from Wayside about a month ago. We were waiting to close on our new house, move in & paint before picking it up. Picked it up last night & so happy with it!!! Of course as soon as we got there it started pouring, the 2 guys that helped us went above & beyond wrapping it in an extra layer of plastic to keep it from getting wet. They were so polite, professional & quick! The woman who helped us at the front was also SO sweet (she was an older lady). I wish I would have gotten the names of the 3 of them because they were great!
Once we got our sectional home & moved inside we removed the plastic from it & the boxing. On top of the plastic the guys added there was also about 4 layers of plastic wrap & box stuff. We were shorted 4 legs for it. Major bummer but I am sure it had nothing to do with Wayside more of a problem with the quality department at distributor. Wayside is giving us some legs to fit the center piece so it’s no issue. Just so happy with our service from our sales woman Debbie Woods, the woman at the front of the warehouse who helped us & the guys out in the back who wrapped & loaded our furniture! Floor model was to be delivered per Brandon supposed manager but he gave different delivery time then told compared to what was put in their system. Devon straightened out the situation but this was after going through story again and again. Hopefully furniture is as stated as far as quality!!!! Gift card coming per Brandon night of sale - if this turns out like his scheduling a gift card will be another disappointment 😡!!!! Cash and Carry only people...quality...
