I ordered roses for my anniversary last year and they forgot a third of the flowers. I thought I would give them another chance and again ordered roses for my anniversary. They didn't forget the little red puffball flowers this time at least. First, ordering was really confusing. The website had 3 different options and the only explanation it gave for them was 3 different prices, the highest being $120. Since I didn't know what the difference was I called. The lady I spoke to also didn't know what the difference was. It was a 10 or 15 minute conversation and by the end we were both confused. I ended up ordering something else, which was somehow the same thing, but cost $185.00 for 18 roses. The last thing she said was that she wanted to confirm that I wanted the dozen for some lower price and I said to her I wanted the 18 for $185. I just looked at the receipt. It was the right price, so I assumed they had an 21st century computer system where they choose a product and the price is populated automatically. Looking at the receipt, she charged me for 18 but typed out 12. For the second anniversary in a row they forgot a third of my flowers. They sure didn't forget to charge me for all of them though.
They are disorganized, the employees don't know their prepackaged products and their cheap software relies on manually entered prices and descriptions. Of course there are going to be mistakes if your employees are not properly trained, your products are not well defined and your computer system doesn't make sure the untrained employees can't make mistakes. The second anniversary in a row they forgot a third of the flowers I paid for. And this time the woman talked me into a more expensive version which, as far as I can tell, is exactly the same thing. I paid an extra $65 and STILL only got 2/3 of my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI grew up in Moline, just a few blocks from K'nees. It was the first florist I've ever known, and even after moving away from the Quad Cities, I always called K'nees when I needed to send flowers. And when my father died, I ordered the Valiant Honor standing spray for his military funeral. I called in the order while looking at the photo online ā that one is priced at $215 ā and asked for an additional $100 of flowers be added. You can see the online photo and the one I took of what was delivered to the cemetery (total cost was over $350). My heart sank when I saw it; these were the only flowers at the service. The next day I went to the florist and spoke to the owner, who told me she had put together the spray. I asked her if she was pleased with the result and she said that she was. I told her I was disappointed. She offered no response. After more than 60 years, I'm in the market for a different Quad...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreJust want to give a shout of for the excellent customer service I received yesterday at Knees Florist. Last week, a friend sent me an arrangement from Knees. Due to a delayed delivery and extremely cold weather, they arrived looking a little tired. Wasn't sure what to do since I have been going to Knees since 1970. I decided to take a risk and return the arrangement to the store. Gratefully, they were able to rework the flowers and freshen them up. Thank you so much for understanding my disappointment and treating me with respect. The flowers are proudly placed on my dining room table. Great...
