Foolishly I tried to schedule an appointment with Beltone online while I am visiting in Freehold NJ. I was rewarded with four solicitation callbacks from different Beltone offices who seemed to think I would be a new customer. I have been a Beltone customer for over 15 years and generally their service is great. I have had a problem with my aids and needed diagnosis of the problem and for the problem to be fixed. I called two of the offices and managed to gain an appointment within two days at one of them in Monroe Township NJ. A cursory look was made and perhaps an educated guess was made that I needed a part to be replaced. This part wasn’t in stock and might take over a week to get. More importantly I was told I would have to pay $75 or more to order the part. This made no sense to me since my Amaze aids are under warranty. I was told I would have to pay and then submit to Beltone for reimbursement. I replied that I thought this office was Beltone??I have never had to do this in 15 years and the provider told me this Beltone office was privately owned. To me, that doesn’t mean you can ignore warranty coverage and make your own rules. I left extremely disappointed and without my problem being corrected. I called and ask receptionist Mindi if they would help my mom adjust hearing aid as it whistles. Mindi mentioned was okay ask me for brand and gave her that info. She goes on to tell me doc can do that no issues and she would help if she could be eligible for new hearing aid which was nice of her.
When we met the guy I explained why I was there and his first words were “ woah woah back up this isn’t our hearing aid and can’t do anything” . I said have checked with Mindi and have gave her all the info and she said you would help. He was no can’t do anything. I said if you would have told me this on call we wouldn’t be here and his excuse was well I’m radiologist or whatever he was. He said Good Bye with attitude. So why would Mindi should have told us and I won’t have drag my 80 year old mom to his store
Guy was way rude… Hope anyone would give a damn and reach out to him for his rudeness and please take his franchises from him there might be many of those might not have complaint.
