Pitiful. The only reason I give them 2 stars is because the actual food was delicious. I ordered catering for my wedding 2 weeks in advance. The girl who answered the phone was absolutely clueless and had no idea what she was doing. She asked for help multiple times. I wanted to pay at that time and I was told “oh.. I mean I could but I don’t want to lose the receipt” … what are you even talking about? I let it go and called twice before my wedding. The first time I spoke to someone I asked if I could pay they said of course. Paid over the Phone. Our total was 275 and change. I found a charge of 579 on our card? I wondered how this was possible. I called again, spoke to someone. They said originally it showed that it didn’t go thru so they charged again, but then it went through originally so we were double charged and they would refund it. Best part- wedding morning.. my girlfriend arrives to pick up the order. The first words out of their mouth are “ what catering order?” I called the evening before to confirm the order for pick up. They told my bridesmaid it would be another hour. She was late to arrive to the venue. In addition, they told her she had to PAY FOR THE ORDER. Not only did I pay in advance, I was charged twice....
Read moreI went into bagel bazaar on applegarth road and the Columbian, dark roast and Costa Rican coffee were all empty and the staff behind the counter refused to make at least 1 dark roast coffee!! Regarding food, they should ask peoples first names when ordering food, so there is no confusion at the cashier's counter!! Which there is a lot of!! Unfortunately my mother likes to go there another bad experience today 8/17/25 again all the dark roast coffee was empty. I ask again if they can make one dark roast, they said no, with a face not to bother them. So, I had my niece with me and she wanted a plain bagel, not toasted with butter, who the girl behind the counter did not speak any English had to ask the other girl behind the counter what I wanted with the rest of my order. We recd our order and the plain bagel with butter and NO butter and wasn't even sliced. I returned to the counter for it to be fixed and they wanted to charge me for the butter $1.35 after making the mistake...and no coffee, what ever to customer service and say I am sorry,no charge for the butter. The heavy set woman, possibly the mgr needs to be replaced, the place has gone down hill!! Do...
Read moreI like Bagel Bazaar's food and have been there several times. Typically fresh and always made to order sandwiches. Their bagels are to die for. I believe a big struggle many breakfast places seem to have is under prepping food quantities so popular options are gone far too soon. Bagel Bazaar is very good about keeping an abundance of fresh bagels available. Their sandwiches are perfect in size as well, it isn't an overabundance of bagel to food on the bagel and so the sandwich is satisfying by taste and quantity. I sometimes even keep half for a later time. What would push it to a five star for me would be perhaps if the people taking orders were more English fluent for the predominantly English speaking customer base they have. I don't mind articulating my order but it is often that myself and others have had to change our order so that the clerk could comprehend the meal order. Not a big deal and no one there is ever rude, in fact for such a busy place they are usually very nice. Awesome stop for a satisfactory quick or sit down breakfast/lunch. Will continue to order here for sure!...
