I generally like Boscov's store ! But over a month ago we ordered a recliner . Had one on the floor but she said i could not have it ! OK, It will be here next wednesday from the reading warehouse . OK . Then they close up shop and I wonder what about my recliner ??, Told the lady it was for health reasons . Seems that the Place is shut down that you can't ever talk to a machine because it is full . But guess what ? The billing is not shut down ! Finally talked to some one there. who is working, but he sends me to some place that is shut down !! Funny have a bill for some thing i don't have and have no idea when or if i will get it . and no one to talk to !! Some one there should have called us . A commitment is just that . The bill did not take time off ,And no one should be billed till you have received the merchandise ! Those who sent it did not take off . Glad now we did not pay cash ! Over a month and nothing but a bill! , I will be letting you know how this works out . If and when some one lets me know and what the solution was , stay tooned .
Update !! it is now 2 months and still no recliner ! Called today and got a person Yaa Finally . But he said their ware house is closed ! And and he has no idea when i will get it ....
Read moreThe staff at Boscov's today was very rude. I used my 15% off coupon for my purchases. I handed the coupon to the clerk after unloading my cart. I had over $200 in purchases. She had already began to ring the items and was very annoyed that she had to start over due to the coupon. Why not ask me FIRST if i have a coupon if this is a problem? It is not the customer's fault that this is the way that Boscov's handles a coupon. I then asked to have my $140 formal dress wrapped in a garment bag and she became irritated again. I also asked what the final price was on the dress since it was on sale and then the coupon was added, she said, "you will just have to look at the receipt". After checking out and walking out of the store i mentioned to my husband that I had never been treated like this at Boscov's and was very surprised. The shoe department was very overwhelmed and under staffed, staff not happy there either. Sorry Boscov's, your staff is not very happy right now and you need to fix it. After a year of doing the majority of my shopping online, i do not need to shop places that are not happy for...
Read moreNot a good store for people with disabilities. There are on very rare occasions, shopping carts at the side entrance. They have 0 scooter chairs. I like some of their things but cannot shop there unless they come up to speed with other stores. UPDATE * The above post is four years old. I finally returned to Boscovs and four years later they have done nothing to accommodate handicapped customers. I entered the side door where seasonal items are sold. I was told they no longer keep shopping carts at that entrance and that I would need to go to the front of the store if I want a cart. I walk with a cane and have difficulty walking far. Going to the front for a cart was the total distance I am able walk. EVERY DEPARTMENT STORE BUT BOSCOVS HAS SCOOTERS FOR HANDICAPPED SHOPPERS. Boscovs can't even manage to provide shopping carts at all entrances. After my last review I received a response that was a boat load of lies. Boscovs has no concern for handicapped shoppers and clearly doesn't care to have...
