First off I know my username looks like a joke but it’s really not it’s my actual user. Anyway I would like to talk about the service I received today here. I went in to go grocery shopping.. A nice young man in the parking lot was coming in at the same time to clock in. I looked over at him and he looked very upset so naturally I asked him what was wrong and he said that he had work the night before and was horribly treated by the managers when he asked to have the next day off because he felt sick he said the managers yelled at him and told him that if he took the next day off he would not be allowed to return. When I even saw him he looked a little bit sick how is that going for the store. He advised me that I really should not be coming here because of how horrible and rude the staff is and the managers. He said that he would be quitting very soon he was still working here because he needed money and because he’s a high school student that summer is coming up and he needed money . I felt so horrible for this kid but that didn’t even top off how bad my service was here. When I was shopping a lady kept following me around a worker kind of short curly hair had a mask on. I started noticing this but didn’t say nothing because I could have just been over exaggerating.. I wasn’t and eventually when I noticed her I asked her was something wrong and she absolutely said nothing and walked away. At this point I am so mad I’m ready to leave when I go to the cashier the cashier looks at me and tells me they’re closed when their light was still on so I told them your light is still on. Cashier looked at me and shut it off as she was looking at me and said well now I’m closed and they go find another lane. I left my shopping cart right there and went to Walmart absolutely not well I go here...
Read moreI don’t go here unless I absolutely have no other choice. It’s close to my Mom, so f I need to pick something up for her I may stop on my way and pick up a few things for myself as well. Twice out of a handful of times I had to go to the Customer Service desk because something wasn’t priced correctly and each time the clerk was less than interested in doing her job and treated me like I was a bother. The last time I bought Shrimp that was on special and it didn’t ring up correctly. Side note: the cashier was very apologetic and kind and agreed that it appeared to be the correct item but I needed to go to customer service. Customer Service told me to go and talk to the fish department, so I did, and he said that I had the right bag. Wording was correct by the bag didn’t look like it did in the flyer. I went back to customer service and had to wait on line which was 5 people deep at this point. The woman did not even apologize for her lack of knowledge or assistance, just shrugged her shoulders, no smile, nothing! If I managed the store I would probably have a pep talk with my front line...It makes the whole store suffer. Although my experience with the other employees was fine, that position should be the most helpful and if they don’t have the right answer,at least be friendly - isn’t customer satisfaction their job. Read moreSent from my iPad I would like to commend your bakery and floral departments. I had a special order that I placed for my daughter's bridal shower the Sunday before the event and I spoke with Morgan (I wasn't very encouraged that she was going to be able to make them because I was already told by one of your competitors that I waited to long to order them and the other advised that they do not make them) but since I was in the store I figured that I would take a chance! She was more than accommendating. I asked about some bling. She suggested that I go to one of the craft stores and pick up anything that I want and she would add it. Needless to say, when I came to pick them up I was blown away! And, more importantl my daughter loved the cupcake dress. Morgan really came through for me and I cannot convey through a note how much I appreciated her assistance in making it a special day for us. And, the cupcakes were truly delicious. The frosting was perfect!
Then, I went to the floral department because I wanted some flowers on the tables and I was given the same courtesy by Gale who helped me pick out table arrangements for my guests and a special arrangement for my daughter's table. Afterwards I brought home the flowers and they lasted for quite a while. Every time I looked at them they reminded me of the wonderful day everyone had. A lot was due to Stop and Shop in Monroe Township and their kind hearted staff.
