Hello people from Monroe Township, I am an inspector for food services/chef from the Culinary Institute of America. I was called upon the NEW OWNERS of D&T pizza/restaurant asking me if I could go down to New Jersey to check out their pizza/restaurant. I was there for 2 weeks trying to see what was going on and showing them the right way to do restaurants services/foods. I've tried their food and it is very good. They showed me the way they made all their foods and they have done it for YEARS and the new owners have not changed anything from the previous owners. I’ve helped them with tips and advice with all their foods but not to the point of change. What I’ve noticed when I was there is that the 50% of people are so rude and don’t want to give them a chance and when they do (as in the costumers) they get the same thing from what the previous owners sold and say the the new owners changed everything when they have not. The other thing I’ve noticed it is that the prices are super cheap and for what type of foods and products and size they have it should be way more money then the price that they have, All for people to be super rude and disrespectful towards the owners and cooks I’ve have never seen so much people be so RUDE to new owners. All of you people do not have nothing of humanity. The new owners have not changed anything, The cooks are the same, The foods are the same I’ve only helped with tips and advice, you all only want to put it down because you have nothing else to do. The new owners are super nice and amazing with their employees and their education. One of the owners daughters went to school for restaurant services and restaurant education, she is amazing and has her serve safe certification. They are trying there best to settle in and make it better and all you can do is talk bad. So please stop trying to gossip and actually go talk to the owners and give them a chance. I will be back to help them more in the future! I do wish them the best of luck.
Sincerely, Inspector Lola M

Read moreFor three years since moving to Monroe Township this has been our favorite place for pizza, subs and other Italian foods. Today I ordered an Italian sub and onion rings. First order under the new owner. I noticed immediately that the quality of the roll on the sub had declined. It was no longer firm, tasty Italian bread but was now dry, crumbly and without flavor. The Italian sub had only two meats in it - regular generic ham and pepperoni. I saw exactly one thin slice of salami. Pepperoni does not belong in an Italian sub unless requested! There was only one layer of provolone but that tasted as it should. The first onion ring I ate had no actual onion in it! The second two had small bits of onion but the whole serving of rings was soggy. I will give this place another chance to see if the pizzas are still as good as under the original owners, but, as of tonight, I'm disappointed in...
Read morePie was ordered and a generous tip was given to bring pizza out to my pie. I called upon arrival and was asked what color car I have. After waiting 20+ min I went in. It was handed to me without any apologies. When I got home the box was dripping with oil in my car. The pizza was awful and we tossed it.i call to discuss the matter and was offered a refund. I replied thank you would come in with my credit card the next day. I was told to bring the pie in now. If I wanted my money back, I no longer had it in the box. It was in the trash. I put the box in recycling. I was then told I was weird if I thought I can get my money back and not give him the pizza I offered for him to come get the pizza. He then told me I was weird. I wanted him to know his pizza was not good and he was a poor businessman. I will never go to D & T...
