My postal carrier BROKE our brand new (put it in 4 months ago) mailbox door yesterday. The way its broken it's obvious Camille (our carrier) whipped it open way too fast and now it's off its hinges. She was the reason we got a Deluxe mailbox, double wide so she would stop bending EXPENSIVE items CLEARLY MARKED- DO NOT BEND! So I called and spoke to Rhonda (Supervisor) she listened and put me on hold. Then someone picks up and says in a nasty voice CAMILLE! I said Oh I was holding. She says Yeah, Camille, can I help you? I say Well my mail carrier broke my mailbox door yesterday. She snaps, I didnt break it! I said, oh were you my carrier yesterday? She says Yeah. I say, in that case you broke it! She was beyond rude and I wasn't having it. Raising her voice. Not sure what's with her attitude but I didnt do it. So bottom line is Camille called me a liar. I told her so, she said, well you're calling me a liar. Well YEAH, because nobody else can legally go in my mailbox and I am the only one home during the day. So we have to replace our $70 mailbox ourselves because Rhonda can't do anything because Camille said she didnt do it 😳 I asked for a different carrier, nope! So I told Rhonda to convey to Camille that she needs to shelf her nasty attitude, respect my mail & mailbox, respect her job and her oath. If anything else is broken I will be sitting out by my mailbox every day to watch Camille and make sure she can treat my mailbox with respect! Treat others the way you would like to be treated Camille! Wish I couldve give ZERO...
Read moreThe worst people imaginable. I was mailing a Christmas card overseas, and I came in to ask how much the postage was and handed the card to the clerk. The clerk asked me if the package was bendable to which I responded that I didn't understand the question. I told him he was holding the card and he should tell me what he was getting at. He clearly wanted me to say that I didn't want it bent so that he could charge me a "package" price to mail the Christmas card. Keep in mind, I just mailed 75 of these cards throughout the U.S. with a normal stamp and no one questioning me about bendability. We had a bit of a stand-off for a minute with him repeating the question multiple times and me playing dumb, and then he says, "Well let's just see if it bends" and he hangs half the card off the counter and karate chops the hanging side to bend it in half. After destroying the card, he tried to sell me a global stamp at $1.50 (not the package price). I was appalled and walked out with my mouth open. After reading the other reviews, I realized it is not worth my time or energy to bother getting the postmaster involved as it would not resolve anything. There are deplorable people in here. These are the type of people that work in government. Be aware of the next service they want under...
Read moreI've been living here for over 10 years and every time I come to this post office the clerks have been extremely rude to me instead of trying to help me. Today's clerk that was extremely nasty was Verna. She told me I needed to better secure my box I was returning with tape even though it was unopened from when it was sent to me. Told me they didn't supply tape and told me I could purchase it from the wall. I understood the policy, so I had no choice but to pay $5 for a roll of tape that I later only used 2 pieces from and brought it back to her along with a 79 cent mailing label. Then she took the tape away from me, looked me dead in the face and sternly told me to "go away." And shooed me away with her hand. And I told her very nicely, but you just told me I needed to tape the box and you took the tape away from me...I need to tape my box.. So she had an attitude with me and told me to go away and fill out the label. I didn't deserve to be treated in this manner. I did absolutely nothing wrong and I was very nice and patient with her. I'm tired of dealing with these nasty clerks every time I come here. Something needs to be done. Everyone else on line even gave a look, like what's her problem..? If she can't handle this type of job then she doesn't...
