My family and I came to Tractor Supply to celebrate my dad's 47 birthday and instead of feeling happy with our purchase we felt humiliated, treated like we are not worth anything. My dad was walking my brother who is specials needs child who just wanted to get his candy and miss Shannon took the candy away and threw it, if she is concerned we can't pay for the candy we can pay for it. Then we came back and after choosing a heater miss snapped at brother and told him "don't touch me" she then tells us "I don't like anyone to touch me because I will yell at them" miss Shannon anybody will touch but it doesn't mean they're going to hurt you especially my sibling who is a child with needs who doesn't deserve to be treated in any way differently or less my family didn't make small payment for your product or your job and we expect to be treated with respect if respect is something you can't give please don't work a job you don't like. Manager I can't expect for you to do the right thing because we understand everybody needs a job to pay for their house and other needs we only expect that you do train your staff be respectful especially miss...

Nice store but lately a very unfriendly staff. We get our cat food here, love the 4health brand, ingredients, and pricing. Unfortunately, they never seem to be well stocked. When I called and requested a raincheck, a manager said she was busy and asked if I could call back tomorrow. Really? It was during daytime hours. Others have told me by phone that they can't check stock from where they are standing. I'm always kind and polite, I have 20+ years of customer service experience so I can understand being busy. People here clearly don't want to help customers though or are beyond irritated that they can't stock items or correct their off inventory counts. Frustrating to say the least, whatever the case. Tonight I came in before closing, I got caught at work late, went straight to the items I wanted to purchase and to the register to pay. I was glared at so badly, I'm not coming back. God forbid they had to work 4 minutes past closing, I was apologetic but the 2 ladies attitudes were incredibly rude and 1 was a manager. Very ugly behavior and very unprofessional. Not a store I'd recommend...

We went to this store for the first time since it's closer to home but we normally go to the one in Mt. Vernon. We went to this one on a mission to get baby chicks. The moment we got close to the chicks we were greeted by someone and offered help but we told her we were going to go shop first then be back for the chicks and she understood. After finding what we needed we went back to the chicks and were greeted by the same lady as earlier, she was patient with us while we let our kids choose which baby chick they wanted and through the whole process was never rude or disrespectful to us so we will definitely go back someday. Plus our baby chicks are doing great but unfortunately I can't say it's all because of the care they received at tractor supply.
