I will NEVER patronize a Hasco store again!
I bought a soccer ball (at the store on Central in Montclair) on a Monday 8/19/24 and it wouldn't hold air. I attempted to exchange it or get a store credit, although I had lost the receipt, and the store manager (unnamed) was simply horrible at customer service. He asked if I had a printed receipt and I said no, I lost it. I did show him proof of purchase on my bank account app and his response was, "oh, it's outside the 7 day policy " (today being 8/29/24). I told him as the manager he could override the written policy and provide customer service since the ball was unused and it was only 3 days past the 7 day policy. Instead of simply taking care of the matter he continually argued with me about how the "Written " policy was the law of the store, while saying I would like to help you but he continued to give me excuses why he shouldn't. I told him I was done with this store and he just lost a customer. I left the ball I had purchased in his possession since it was unusual. Read moreWell I've gone here several times already my latest time was today which is April 8th and I purchase some items. I will admit not everything is cheaper I can't believe how they raise the prices on some of the items but I do find some good items and the people are friendly however This is the 1st time I saw security and I guess they've had a security officer for about 2 weeks now well I used to be a security officer for over 35 years. And I felt like he was watching me I didn't really feel comfortable however that will not keep me from returning to the store. Anyways the cashier lady I can't remember her name she is awesome I really like her a lot and I and I plan on going back but I do hope That the security officer does not follow people around like I felt he was watching me. Read moreI would not recommend buying any of their pallets. It is mostly broken stuff. I bought one today and I only had 1 working item out of 10. I understand it's a risk. But the night before they told me that they tested everything in. Made sure it worked before they put it on the On the palate. So just be warned not to purchase any of them. To those who read the reply. It is wrong. I didn't pay 250. It's like what they say. When you're there we? Test everything to make sure everything works before we sell it in a pallet to you guys. And it wasn't even close to being $4000 worth of items. This is a horrible store in the customer service. There sucks and they are completely rude, so don't go there. Take your money...
